Okay, heres the story about it, Kim Chiu interviewed for closing abs-cbn, then she made a statement (very confusing statement), comparing the situation of abs-cbn to classroom rules/law which doesnt entirely make sense. Then people make memes about it (lots of memes), then some people edit kim's audio statement and applied some beat to it, then it became a dance craze. Then the beat/track maker sell his created track to kim chiu (abs-cbn basically) then they release it as kim's new single track.
Now if you are wondering why it got so many dislikes, well, basically kim chiu is not really a singer and people are saying there are more singers out there that deserve to sing on the wish bus and kim chiu (as for my understanding on the comments) is a shame to the OPM.
    Good morning Ovela. 🙂

And where are all of them when real artists/underrated artists sang on the wish bus? Why did they not support those artists? Why didn't they give 400k views to those deserving artists instead of giving Kim's video 400k dislikes? Please don't use those "more deserving singers" to justify ruthless bashing when people did not give a damn when they actually sang on the wish bus.

This song was created because of her "controversial and misunderstood" statements regarding the closure of ABS-CBN by comparing it to classroom rules and regulations. Certain memes and various parodies circulated online and her statement was made into a song. Actress Kim Chiu released a video blog where she was speaking to a "supporter" and a "composer" of the tune of Bawal Lumabas. In that certain moment, the full version of the song was born titled "Bawal Lumabas" which means "Going outside is not allowed".
In my own assessment (just my observation I'm not a liker nor a disliker), the reason why this video got so much dislikes is because people think that this promotes "nonsensibility" and is considered "overhyped". The refrain part of the song makes sense but the chorus is the controversial one because even if you translate it in English, her statement will still be misunderstood. Again, I am not a supporter or disliker, just my observation.

It's nonsense but the bashers were the one who "overhyped" everything. They made such a big deal out of her statement when it's not even that funny to begin with. They made fun of her mistake, made her trend, called her names, and when she decided to turn that negativity into positive, they said she's overdoing and making a big deal when they were the one overreacting.
Not really her fan too but i kinda relate with her mistake. That happens to me all the time too, when i have thoughts and ideas and i can't put it into words so i would end up rambling and stuttering. Especially when i'm doing reports. Tbh, until now, i find those who called her names and bashed her for something this small, pathetic. They just jumped on the hate bandwagon to show superiority and such but they ended up looking insecure and pathetic.

Hi Ovela :) The story is..
Kim Chiu was interviewed for her reaction regarding the ABS CBN shutdown. The chorus part was actually a statement from that interview, which sounded ambiguous and for some funny, since it did not really made so much sense (perhaps, because of the high emotions that she had at that time.) Some made fun about it and even edited it and put a beat on it. That is why it sounded like that. After that, Kim decided to create a full song of it, to make a good result and turn bashing into positive. It became a trend and became a somewhat a dancecraze here in the PH.
Now, she was invited ti sing the song on WISH BUS. Some people didn't like the turn of events.
    Just sharing.

    Chorus:
"In the classroom, there's a law. You're not allowed to get out, yeah you're not allowed to get out. But if it's said, that you complied not to get out. But you said... you did something to the thing that they forbid you. You fixed the law of your classroom, and you submitted it again. There!! You're now allowed to get out."
Sorry for my bad english. But ovela, the chorus kinda means like this. And yeah it's confusing that's why people mocked her and even turned that dialogue into a song. Now, all Filipinos moved on with this song, aside from her. And she's really pushing it to the next level that's why the vid got so much dislikes. Plus they're saying that she's ruining the OPM, there are so many local singers that are more deserving to air than her song (according to them) but didn't get the opportunity. And then there's wish bus who gave kim the opportunity 🤷‍♀️

  • @rookiecaporas3928
    @rookiecaporas3928 4 года назад +91

It all started when ABS-CBN's 25-year franchise to air on TV using the free frequency provided by the government got expired. So the National Telecommunications Commission issued a Cease and Desist Order against the network. As the effect, the network's actors and talents went out to social media, somehow became outrageous about what happened and directly blamed the government most especially the President for the fate of their network. Kim Chiu was one of them - who messed up her own interpretation and analogy to what happened to their network. Hence, her statements went viral - became memes and people transformed them into music videos and even a dance craze - oh, with different versions and genre too. Why so much hate? Some Filipinos became irritated and annoyed by the way how the network's news and current affairs deliver their news - which people described as "bias" - through the years. Currently, their application for franchise renewal is still being heard at the Congress. The application wasn't that easy though as the network was being bombarded with so much accusations ang legal issues that they have to explain.

To those who doesn't understand the root of everything may have found the song empty and nonsense since the chorus by inspection doesn't connect with the verses itself but you see Sir, The chorus was just a representation, the meme, the exact mistake she said that made her controversial, where she found herself bashed by everyone for an honest mistake she knew she said.
The Verses was just her strory afterwards. Her thoughts. Her opinion. Her stepping stone to moving on from what happened to her in the chorus. The verses is her being who she should be. How she should live. How she chooses to move on after learning her lesson from her mistakes, and how she chooses to forgive from those ill judgements about her which will be reminded by the chorus.. Yes it doesn't connect by inspection. But it does if you'll relate it with her life before and after the controvesy.
    Just sharing my thoughts.

If i were on her shoes, my life would be miserable and i couldn't bear to let my family get to involve and get hurt because of me, where also i dont even know if i should continue to live my life or let people decide on how to live my life or be gone to escape from everyone's ill judgement. The dance forthis song was choreographed by Rhemuel Lunio. She asked him for a dance choreography for her song. The chorus line of this song was the oart that went viral when she was one of the artists of ABS CBn who were against the ShutDown of the network. Then she said the chorus part which is literally "nonsense". It went viral people shared it and some even made a song out of it. Soem also made dance challenge for the chorus part. Then lots of bashers. Hehe coz the chorus is really nonsense. The other part of the lyrics are made or written when the chorus oart became viral for hates. Someone ask me HOW YOU DEFINE BASHERS in social media?
Bashers are low grade in the society. Their understanding are shallow, their heart and mind are evil, dont bash them because you are not one of them. Let them do what makes them happy. Because low grade is always arrogant in the eyes of many.
Let us go back in the living without social media.
The CHISMOSA it is pertaining to people who creates gossip. Making issue without evidence considering their statement is not based on facts. Are they the same to present term bashers? Basher and Chismosa are the same because bashing is the elevation of being chismosa upgrading themselves to become huge in the society.
Bashing is Judgement, consider the fact that people in our society are engaging and giving their opinion on the said issue or news without thinking that their opinion is misleading. Why? Because their opinions become judgement to someone without thinking the argument they are throwing to a subject of the said issue is not true.
      What matter most to bashers?
It is the emotion that allows them not to think properly. Example they are avid fan of a famous actor or a politician and they idolize them well. Whatever negativities thrown against them their supporters will always defend them that leads to war in social media.
My question is why these bashers don't think much? It is because maybe it is their pride to defend someone they love and it is their way to destroy someone they hates.
How to end this? It is a continuous behavior, unless that person will decide not to get involve in any issue. Being neutral is good until you have fact or supporting evidence to defend or not to defend that person even he is your friend, brother, parents or the one you idolize. That thinking is belong to wisdom not by knowledge. Always remember that wisdom is greater than knowledge.
I am hoping that I answer your question clearly.
Stop bashing now😛😛😛 remember bashers and chismosa are consider low grade in our society and define as arrogant of many.
I am aldos, this is my say✌️✌️✌️😛😛👍

The chorus of this song was originally from Kim Chiu’s reaction video regarding her TV network’s shutdown and other controversial issues that was melodized and turned into a meme-song. The “law of classroom” and “bawal lumabas (prohibited to go out)” were the situations she tried to use as analogies as she was trying to enlighten her viewers. However, she messed up in explaining and wasn’t able to connect and clarify her statements and ended up her sounding gibberish and ambiguous.
It made people to make fun of her because even she herself admitted that she didn’t understand what she said, maybe because her emotions were high at that time and from then on was the start of the memes, parodies and spoofs.
It negatively and emotionally impacted her but instead of getting affected further, she thought that turning it into an official song would be a sweet revenge to her bashers. Unfortunately, singing her song on Wish Bus gained mixed reactions and most felt insulted on why a gibberish- meme song and an autotune dependent singer made it so easy to perform in Wish Bus while other real and excellent performing singers waited long before making it to Wish Bus, which is an insult to many hard working singers.

Actually, the "Bawal Lumabas" song was from her statement when she was interviewed about the closing of ABS-CBN. Her statement became trending because it caused many confusions to a lot of people. And because of that, many Filipinos made a lot of memes or anything to bash her. Then someone added beat and tone to her statement and it became a viral song. When you observe the chorus part, there's auto tune on it because they edited her voice directly from her statement. Ms. Kim Chiu was very disappointed or maybe depressed by those times because of many Filipino bashers... and in order for her to fight or overcome her problems, she finished the song with the one who edited the chorus part. Then it became an official song...
Sad to say, when someone made a mistake, people judge them immediately... There are too many judgmental Filipinos here as if they are perfect. Why can't we just ignore those imperfections of other people and just focus on the things that can make our personality better. I'm not against of anyone. I'm just stating the fact that there are too many pessimistic Filipinos nowadays. When you do this thing, they will judge you.. When you do that, they will also judge you. It's like we have no freedom of expression... and also, yes, we must have the freedom to express.. but we need to think also what we will say or what we will do...we can express our thoughts as long as we can't hurt someone's feelings. Just saying.. sorry for my bad English, but I hope you understand. God bless, people!!!

HERE’S THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG:
First, I wanted to Apologize cause i know im not that good in English. and hope you still can comprehend this comment.
So ABS-CBN, the network where Kim Chiu is working has been Shutdown by the Goverment simply because their Franchise was expired for a long time, yet ABSCBN is a very influencial Channel that makes the Artist in it including Kim and several Filipino people to protest against the shutdown, wanting the government to let the ABSCBN Programs to be aired again. Now Kim Chiu gave her opinion about this incident and herself desperately wanting their Network to be in the scene again and because of her emotions pouring out during the interview, She said this statement “Sa classroom may batas, bawal lumabas pero pag sinabi, pag nag comply ka sa law ng classroom na bawal lumabas, aw pwede na pala ikaw lumabas (not her exact words)” as you can hear the song’s chorus, thats what it was saying. it translate to
“ In Classrooms there’s a law(rules) that No one can go out during the class, but if you comply to the law and you fix that law and you submitted it again, then you can now go out “
I guess we can agree that it’s hard to understand right? and that’s why Filipinos are making fun of that statement and pre judging Kim Chiu to be stupid.
And Kim Chiu is really affected by the hates and bashing. Yet to cope up eith the situation, She did make this song and even came up with a Tshirt that imprinted her Famous statement to it, And People see this act of Kim as too much, That is why they are discouraging this Song and disliking it as much as they can.

My understanding (based on watching the ongoing trial) is that the station where she belongs, ABS-CBN, apparently violated the Philippines' franchise law (their franchise expired yet they still continued to broadcast) and other laws (i.e., tax evasion, questionable citizenship of the owner of their company, etc.), that's why it's being investigated and the owner's on trial right now. The reason why a lot of people dislike the song (see my English translation) is that this "singer"/actress made a confusing statement (when she tried in vain to make a case as to why her station should be given another chance to renew its expired franchise) on her social media, which they later turned into a song. People are ticked off with her because instead of feeling remorseful for her actions, she is capitalizing from it in a way that seems to mock the gov't and people who are pro-ABS-CBN shut down. They seem to have made the song as a form of "in-your-face" defiance statement. She and her fellow ABS-CBN actors/actresses and singers are said to be blatantly going against the gov't that's why people are fighting back; hence, the dislikes.
The majority of Filipinos want the station to be shut down because ABS-CBN reportedly controls a big part of the Philippines, including putting gov't officials of their (ABS-CBN's) choice/endorsement in power so that they can take over the gov't. Talk about monopoly.

Bawal Lumabas was Kim Chui comments/regard on governments protocols about staying home or the Enhanced Community Quarantine. On a live video she gave an example that if you are in a class where every students are not allowed to go out because of "classroom law" she stretched out that a student can make another classroom law (classroom rules) or revise the current house rules inside your classroom then you can then go out. Basically what she was trying to say was about when you comply or make other adjustments on government protocols regarding COVID19 YOU CAN GO OUT OF YOUR HOUSE EVEN IT'S STILL LOCKDOWN. It gained many negative comments and reactions from the netizens because her statement wasn't clear (she even admit it that when she watch that video of hers,it wasnt that clear also) i mean the message of her video was unclear what she was really trying to elaborate about this Enhanced Community Quarantine in the country that time. So netizens were giving negative comments due to the clarity of the message, they bashed her and all. Some made a dance steps and her lines were made into song. So Kim Chui answered the netizens by completing her lines and made a song out of it. Which metines still dislikes and made fun out of it.

They didn't bashed her because of her voice, because they already knew that she's not a singer. But because of the issue about the abs-cbn shut down. I don't know why those people bashed her, in the first place she just wanted to speak up and be the voice of those co-artists. She spoke a lot of nice things, but still people focused on the mistake. Anyways, the back-up tone (I don't know what exactly called that haha) in her performance, that is the mistake that she'd done and they edited it into kinda song, just for fun. Yow, I hope you can read this hehehe. Anyways, I'm not good in English, hope you'll understand.❤

I super like this reaction.. You'll definitely made a big slap on Filipinos being judgemental. I don't like what Kim Chu said regarding ABS-CBN shutdown but the lyrics in the stanza looks like Kim Chu is asking for forgiveness. So giving her dislike would be so harsh.. In my opinion. Anyways, thanks so much for reacting to this. 😊

The original version of "Bawal Lumabas" is a meme from Kim Chiu's statement comparing classroom rules to actual laws, then netizens edited her statement and made it into a song (hence the heavy autotune) which became a TikTok trend and viral in Facebook and Twitter, but when almost every filipino were over the meme, Kim Chiu added her own lyrics (that is not really connected to her original statement) and even made merch for it, that's why a lot of people (including me) disliked it.

It got so many dislikes because Kim Chiu's bashers feels like their bashing aren't effective enough to destroy her career. Not only her career but also her emotional and mental health as well. The toxic culture in the Philippines is very severe. (not a fan or trying to defend Kim Chiu, I'm just saying what I think the situation is about) You really can't do something wrong or say something that will oppose the peer because you'll get non-stop bashing from these low life insecure trolls who only mind about negative stuff instead of thinking about something productive XD

It's not the song itself that the people disliked it. It is how the song was made. They based the song on the comment she made about her network closing issues. Her comment was nonsense and most of the time confusing. Her making a song out of it and profiteering from it is a disgrace to alot of Filipinos. Hence the thousands of dislikes.

The story behind of this is because the channel company which she had worked on was closed by the government of the Philippines because of some illegal doings the channel name is "abs-cbn" . And then all of the artist in abs-cbn including Kim chui reacted on it on an interview then Kim chui has a funny interview that is when it all started she became viral because of her interview explaining rules and hate to the government which she explained the law of classroom made by her hahahha its about politics and a celebrity issues. she explained foolishly on an interview that why she became viral. And she actually made a song for her haters to make her positive on the other side. Hahaha

Bawal lumabas is translated to english as "forbidden to go out". I think the reason it got so much dislike are for two reasons. 1st, Kim Chiu had a viral video saying mixed up statements and negativere action to the government over the suspension of the TV network's franchise she works for. Her statements were all over the place that she got a lot of haters and some made fun of her by adding music and making her statements as the lyrics (that was the part of the song that she wasn't singing). 2nd, the Wish Bus is a platform for singers, musician artists to widden their reach to people and is regarded highly. Having Kim Chui perform that song on the Wish Bus disappointed artists and some viewers of the wish bus for even allowing it. That's how I see it.
