The current standard competition suit was not invented then. 4. There was hardly any underwater dolphin. 5. The turns were all standard at each transition..

Thank you so much for the video! It's nice to see how much swimming has changed Fly: all of them swam quite flat, much like modern style modeled after Phelps. Quite different from the 90's and early 00's Backstroke: much less horizontal body position than today. you can see much of the bicep showing all the time. the head moves too much by today's standard Breastroke: body is much flatter during the breath, unlike the "wave" style today. It is notable how much Sidorenko killed everybody in the breast Free: recovery looks tense, head position not as stable as today anyone has other observations?
The only reason he won was because of the boycott. Jesse Vasallo was the world record holder at the time and it might have been a different story had the Americans competed.
