I just finished the book, like 2 mins ago and I am STILL trying to process it
This book is honestly one of the best I’ve ever read, Major respect for Karen.
I just finished the book 20 minutes ago, I brought it with me on holiday and finished in three days ahahah. I read a little of “one of us is lying” but never got into it (which I am going to read again) so when i got “two can keep a secret” I was so excited to get into it. I am a die hard romance lover and a murder mystery lover so I loved the combination. I loved seeing Malcolm’s and Ellery’s relationship form but then I loved how she balanced it out with the murder mystery. The whole storyline I loved as I am a big pll fan, and the ending was so satisfying. I think that this book is totally movie worthy and think that it should be turned into one as I would love to see the characters I’ve grown to love on the big screen❤️❤️

I want to share a few observations and connections I made after I read the end :

1. You know how in the start of the book this guy named Andy shares his story about how he absorbed his twin in the womb. Then when Ellery thinks about she goes something like....... "How does one live with something like that? Knowing the could've very easily have been the Wrong Twin. I feel like that was a kind of foreshadowing and the story comes full circle with Ellery finding out that Peter killed Sarah instead of Sadie and she could have been the wrong twin.
2. The grandmother mentions that Sarah and Sadie would pretend to be each other I guess (which could possibly explain how Peter assumed Sarah to be Sadie). Also the murder victims are all supposed to be Homecoming Queens and Sadie was the homecoming queen not Sarah.
Also, nana mentions how the only guys Sarah spoke to were the ones that were associated with Sadie. And she had been with Vance and Peter , making them suspects in Sarah's disappearance.
I LOVE this analysis!
I always thought that it was weird on the front cover how it said 2 dead homecoming queens. I was thinking but it was Sadie not Sarah!
This book was so good, I genuinely can't wait for anything more from Karen

Oh gosh that final line just left me in shock. I sat there with my heart pounding and my hand over my mouth for a good five minutes. I don't think I've ever been more chilled at the end of a book. Even now when I think about it I have a gut wrenching feeling of adrenaline and fear. What a way to end a book.

Loved your review! I just this Finished this book last night and OH MY GOD that last line. I was completely shaken up after I read it. XD I also wish we did get to see a little more of Ezra, tho Malcom is my favorite character and my love for Ryan grew so much. Anyway, again, brilliant Review & I have subscribed!

I’m currently reading this and decided to take a break midway through to watch some reviews. I love your “town tree”, I’d say that’s my biggest issue right now. Trying to keep track of who is who in relation to who is blowing my mind a bit.
