Great remix. This took away the chaos but not the hurt. (no pun intended) This song was always beautiful and emotional...but taking away the harsher underlying industrial parts Trent often uses to convey an uneasy feeling, it made this song/Trent sound even more vulnerable. Wonderful.
I really enjoyed this variation very much. I'm not in love with the vocal effects, but instrumentation is without parallel. There is another wonderful remix of this that gives me great joy, as well... I'm 34 and the older I get, the more NIN is becoming my favorite musical artist of all time. The whole catalogue of songs are wonderful to behold, old and new alike.
Great thing to see and realize the real NIN fans all just make nice comments :D NIN is one of the most inspiring bands of the last 5 decades, treasure that! (also REALLY like theeveryday is exactly the same remix!) Screw dubstep and warm pineapple on pizza's!

This was actually remixed from the stereo track of V2 of the song. The stems were never released to the public so with some creative sound engineering and additions of instrumentation and mixing, this version came to life. The instrumentals on it are actually pretty sparse, but could easily be recreated. And there are actually segments of three (I think) different NIN songs in this one that I did take stems from...IDK what they are off the top of my head as it has been a while since I made this.
