This has been the best video to learn how to properly do a call for crows. I had purchased a call, but there was no real instruction to it. This video gave a perfect explanation on how do the call properly and explained the differences in tone and pitch. Thank you for this! I wish I had found it sooner!
It's funny, I use this for turkey hunting here in British Columbia. I use a shock crow call to get the turkeys to gobble back. Then I can stalk the turkeys using a box call. The crows seem to know, they wait till after I shoot and collect the gizzards and chest sponge when I'm done cleaning.
Crow calls are sold to lure in turkeys. Not usually to kill crows. Turkeys will gather nearby crows when they sound for food. There is a specific call that crows make when they find food. Good luck.
