Hi. Can you review the Keychron K4 (maybe in gateron yellow because its so rare on mass production keyboard) which is like the cheaper version of this keyboard. thanks

im happy that its one of the videos where they review it for what it actually is, not some idiot modding it then reviewing it
For me, the only drawback which I noticed here, is that the numerical keayboard on the right side does not have any extra information like arrows or "ins" (insert) like others F96 keyboards, for instance Avocado, etc.
I debated between this, the keychron K4v2 and the epomaker GK96S for a few days but honestly I just kinda wanted a plug in and go kind of experience. I didn't want to have to think too much about replacing keycaps if I didn't care for the ABS of the keychron or work out exactly what switches I wanted. Particularly as I already have cherry mx browns, which I'm happy with. With all that potential added expense it also seemed uneconomical. Yes, it's maybe a little more expensive than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for. The main disappointment is that their other models appear to be hotswappable, which would make this close to perfect.
Can the DEL key next to the PRINT key be remapped to a PAUSE key?
wish it had hotswap. Also if you are gonna make rgb, have a shine through legend option.
yeah if the keycaps were double-shot it would be even better

Since it is bluetooth, can it be be connected w/o using the dongle provided that the PC/laptop has built-in bluetooth?

this was going to be my dream keyboard, but it seems as though the keycap legends aren't transparent, which then makes me wonder what is even the point of having a backlight if not to see the letters on your keyboard? for me, any goofy rgb setting is just a secondary function to letting me see the letters on my keyboard in the dark lmao

Don’t think so, would have to buy aftermarket. Also have not seen KAT with backlit at all!

@@md.imamulislam7 theyre not but the layouts are actually pretty intuitive for what i need them for. again im typing on mine right now hahaha, i resoldered some zealios v2s in there and this thing is a banger.

They cannot. There are a few nonstandard sizes that make 96key layouts pretty hard to buy for

Great board but I feel like cherry switches being the only option and no hotswappabilty brings this one down.
Armadyz if this was hot swappable, it would be the perfect keyboard
I mean you can always learn to solder and just take off the stock switches

Nice looking keyboard and very interessesting form factor, but i am not tempted to buy any stuff from such a fishy site ... Just look at the actuation force of 50 gramms , also 35g and don´t forget 60g?^^ Not to mention better feeling keycaps for gamers. Whatever they felt, I personally only prefer linear typs which all feel similar to me regardless of the keycaps.

The only problem is finding keycaps. They're SO ANNOYING TO FIND
What makes them hard to find? I’m thinking about getting it but not sure if I can easily replace the keycaps, is it the layout, shift keys etc?
@@93ksj It's not really the shift. Most come with a smaller 1.75U cap for it
The issue is the numpad 0 key and the 1U controll, alt and FN keys to the right of the spacebar on Row 0
@@93ksj BUT. There are still options for us. You can either piece together a set of caps, OR you can get a 125keycap set(Depends on the maker) or a 132 keycap set from Taihao. They have some good ones that work
KissMyChancla I mostly go for a black and white color scheme which is kinda hard to find already, I’m kind of on the fence with it since I don’t wanna spend money and then regret it because I can’t find keycaps, feels bad lol
@@93ksj Iqunix sells the keycaps too. Maybe you'll be able to find colors that are suited to your tastes there.
