Best keyboard I've ever had. Black Halo96 with the Baby Raccoon switches. Thinking of buying a second one and leave it at the office, so I don't have to carry the home one back and forth. It's that good.
I just got the Halo 75 with baby racoon switches also. I have to wholeheartedly agree with this review. The switches sound and feel fantastic. The ghost space bar is on another level. It's the best feeling stock board without any mods.

rookie question, but what's the dongle for? I was hoping to pear this with my macbook which I have hooked up to my monitor, and it only has 2 usb c slots. do I need to plug the dongle into my computer to use it wirelessly?
No worries at all. So there are 3 ways to use this KB. 1. You can just connect it directly to the computer with a USB-C cable and use it like a wired device. 2. You can connect the wireless dongle to a computer and it will work wireless with that specific device. 3. You can connect via Bluetooth if your computer has that (no dongle required).
Thanks for the review. I’m not a fan of the RGB lighting wish they offered a backlit option. Are you able to adjust the RGB lighting to a solid color for example orange? Thanks for the help
Question: does the dampener kit come prebuilt in the board or was that something you did yourself? Looking to purchase a good keeb to keep in-office and I don’t want it to disturb the other folks around me.
Yup I have been doing that this week actually. If I am being critical suprisingly my favourite one so far is Night Breeze. They are honestly the smoothest switches I have used and they are in house switches too. The G-Pro switches are good, though they mostly feel very fimmilar to the classic Gateron switchtes with minor adjustments in actuation force. The BBC swithces are good if you want the speed of linear but the feedback of tactile and BBK I honestly am not sure what their purpose is tbh...

Good choice! I’m glad you had a similar experience. The ghost bar is literally a de-stress button for me haha
My 75 is on the way too, except I got the baby kangaroos.

Great question. The damper kit is pre installed and cannot be tempered with.

Can the backlight be still/stationary, not color, just white/yellow, not animated?
They need to make a southpaw version of this with the key pad on the left side. So far only Keychron makes a decent one

what i really hate is that the mechanical has some space between the FN an Left arrow but the low key version not. WHyyyy!???

No stock is fine. Of course to get the smoothest feel possible lubing matters.
Premium price but other custom keyboards are $200 just for the frame with no keys or switches
just order Air 75 v2 (With macro key software) .... just wait for the delivery.

I use Mac and PC. Both are great at certain things. I try not to assocciate sentimental feelings with brands, just use them like tools.
Backlighting on shine through keycaps is shit. Don’t buy this keyboard, even though it looks fine.
