Comparing between Marvel's Avengers: Endgame Trailers(1,2, super bowl big tv spot and special look) and the Movie to see the differences between the two.
It is trailer vs movie scene by scene comparison. Marvel makes these changes in the trailer in order to prevent spoilers before the release of the films.
In our earlier video, we got a lot of feedback from our viewers so we have made all those changes in this video along with correcting our mistakes.
All scenes now shot-for-shot.

I’ve never seen a movie before where it’s marketing was kept so secret, even a majority of the trailer shots were different and heavily edited to save as much for you experiencing it in theaters
It was worth it !
Ozymandias - Movies & TV it was difficult even for the amount of secrecy because potential spoilers were still popping up so I was trying to avoid them until the movie. Definitely worth it

Mjolnir being erased from the trailer is actually a good thing since it doesn’t spoil Thor getting mjolnir back.

@@adrianstjarnfaldt395 it's actually that he did get hit by the blade in one of the swings, because of the angle of the blade, but the shield stopped it from going through

Well that just amazing they put that much effort into avoiding spoilers...only to go nuts two weeks into the film's release and reveal everything!

In trailer tony recording peppers message, he was not skinny unlike in movie.

You forgot to note that in the movie, vfx made Tony appear emaciated vice the trailer.

I started watching none of the trailers since infinity war. I just listen to the audio to get a sense of the movie.
3:23 in the movie version you can see that Tony is a lot more frail considering the fact he's been stuck in space for 20+ days

It’s incredible how just by editing the trailer it looks as though the whole movie is straight after Infinity War, Thanos still has his armies, he’s taking precautions by wearing armour this time, the remaining Avengers go straight to space, Nebula fights him and they have this huge battle on another planet. I’m so glad that it was what it actually was.

The trailers did a good job of building up the emotion in The aftermath of infinity war
Differences
1-in the beginning of the movie where Lila shoots arrow in the target image was on a different view
2-after she gives five to Clint image was on a different view
3-Tony when he tried to turn on the Iron Man mask he clicked it with on hand but he clicked it with two hands the two hands the correct scene but in the trailer is where he turned it off it played reversed
4-Tony when he looked at the window in Benatar orange lights are shown in Benatar
5-Steve looks at the mirror his face had a different look & the mirror didn't vibrated
6-Tony was listening to Natasha's speech while she was talking about the disintegration when the scene shows Peter & Scott's faces Scott's face was different & Tony wasn't shown at it Bruce was shown
7-Bruce said if we do this we may go into short handed the scene in Special Look was shown on him not Rhodey & Natasha
8-after Carol said because before you didn't have me Bruce looks at her the scene was slow & he sadly looked at her
9-Thor takes the Stormbreaker the Stormbreaker was without the axe & the scene was focusing on Thor's behind Carol's hair didn't move
10-Carol did a different smile
11-Captain America & Black Widow were in Benatar the Benatar was turn on & Cap closed the Peggy pic with one finger
12-thete were no cliffs behind Thanos' scarecrow
13-Thanos didn't touch a plant because he was going to the earth
14-Thor exits the farm image didn't start getting blur Thor was going on a different direction
15-where do we go now that they're gone image was freezed
16-during Steve's conversation to people the shots are different
17-Tony didn't clean the pic of himself with Peter
18-Shots of Natasha listening to Steve shots are in different view
19-Scott enters the facility Natasha's hair was blonde & the video recorder wasn't said gateway
20-War Machine said to Scott what's up regular sized man Hulk wasn't shown
21-Rocket enters the new Asgard Hulk wasn't shown
22-Natasha was going with quinjet to Tokyo the quinjet was flying in a different direction
23-Natasha looks at Clint in reunion her hair was blonde how the 2023 scenes Natasha's hair was blonde where she see Scott & Clint but before Scott arrived & time travel her hair was double colored
24-different shot of Clint after he looked at Natasha
25-Clint looks at the time travel shot was too far
26-Steve said about the stones before going to time heist Hulk & Thor aren't shown but they were shown in DVD trailer
27-also they're not shown after their get their hands & no one wasn't shown in the teaser but in super bowl other heroes are shown
28-the view of New York in 2012 was different & the portal & Chitauris aren't shown for not showing the spoilers
29-Captain America while he was in 2012 with Iron Man, Hulk & Ant-Man he was wearing his main suit this wouldn't happen if this shown people confused about both Captain Americas wearing the same suit
30-Nebula 2014 kills an alien she was in earth in the final battle & she was the normal Nebula
31-a view of the sanctuary 2 it was mirrored
32-when Sanctuary 2 was flying the clouds are greenish grey
33-when Ronin & Black Widow they went to Vormir the planet wasn't shown on the window
34-in the Natasha's funeral Steve's head was up Tony wasn't shown
35-Clint looks at Steve Hulk wasn't shown
36-Ronin looks at his phone Laura was calling Captain America wasn't shown
37-after Thanos 2014 obliterates the facility Hulk wasn't shown
38-Ronin fell down in underground the image was mirrored
39-the arriving of Thanos 2014 the image was too far
40-Mjolnir 2013 was not shown on Thor's hand also the fat Thor was shown in the 2023 scenes in trailers & this was his only scene
41-Ronin was running from the Outriders while he put exploding arrows on the pipes Nano Gauntlet wasn't shown on his hand & the scene in the trailer 2 was shown before Ronin runs
42-Captain America's shield was broken
43-Cap closed his shield it was broken & the aqua lights are shown which he was in stadium then the final battle was took place in the stadium
44-after Rhodey came out of the underground with Rocket & Hulk after Ant-Man take them out the Iron Patriot's suit wasn't colored it was the War Machine suit color but actually it didn't have the color in the first art of the movie but when his reveal in the super bowl he had has main suit but in the trailer 2 he was wearing 2 suits
45-Captain Marvel didn't have haircut in the 2023
So I guess NWH is doing something similar
Actually in the first trailer (the teaser), in the ship Tony was skinner in the movie than the trailer because he was in space for a long time 3:24

Really informative, I'd even watch a breakdown since these shots go by so fast. In the instance of color correction, I actually prefer the trailer shots; the film is more desaturated and realistic, but the trailer is more cinematic.

0:55, we see that the trailer version is the suit of Ant-Man and not a white blouse like Steve Rogers wears in the Movie.
This blew my mind. I never thought to go back to the trailers to compare changes. All I knew were the shots that weren’t used in the movie. It’s interesting bc to an extent, I’m not a fan of these alterations since it showcases how much CGI/VFX is in the movie (to where it’s distracting to me and is too much imo), but I’m also incredibly impressed by how much work was put into making the changes just to avoid spoilers.

They didn’t have professor hulk of fat Thor in the trailer to prevent spoilers same with the other thing that weren’t in the trailer
At 0:16 Black Widow hair looks different. in the movie her was blonde and then change it to red.

I think the dramatic timing of that scene where Thor brings the hammer to him past Carol's head is much more effective the way it was shot in the trailer, as the focus is on Carol's lack of a reaction to Thor trying to intimidate her. Unlike the movie, where the focus is on the hammer flying into Thor's hand, like the hammer is the most important part of that shot. I guess they figured everyone already saw it in the trailer and didn't want to reuse the 'joke' but this definitely hurt the scene in the long run. Minor nitpick I guess, but c'mon, why was it changed. Same with Peters quip, 'Oh, we're using our made up names?' in Infinity War was better delivered in the trailer than the actual movie.

Now that I watched this, I just realize that we never see Fat Thor in the quantum suit (other than the movie). In games and merchandise, we only see him in a quantum suit but fit. Even Hulk got the suit on, whether they intended it to be smart Hulk or not.

The blood is also missing from Clint’s sword when he cleans it on his arm.
They removed the part of Black Widow in practice shooting because why the hell she will use a simple pistol to kill a titan who decimated half of life in a snap.
Eye coordination for shooting requires skill and a lot of practice. She wants to still be sharp incase of imminent danger.

Nah the shooting practice scene cleary takes place after the stones are destroyed and Thor decapitates Thanos.
Crazy how they literally kept the entire plot of the movie hidden throughout the marketing. For all we knew from the trailers, it felt like it would be your standard "we're here to fight you again but this time we know your tricks so you won't win and we have a new contender!" Which was an exciting concept, but then the movie took literally a completely opposite turn
Makes you think what they might be hiding in No Way Home.

My only problem with the marketing was that I expected for endgame to be this super dark and emotional movie and live up to infinity war but i was kinda disappointed when some things in the movie didn’t live up to the expectations of the trailer

A trailer can show only the first 5 minutes of the movie. Im fine with that. You can show me the most usless boring crap and id still be fine with it. AS LONG AS ITS GOING TO BE IN THE FILM. If the trailer shows heavy spoilers, case in point Batman V Superman where they spoiled Doomsday right off the bat, which pissed me off to high heaven.
