- A comparison between Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers (1, 2&3) and the matching shots from the final film. Due to the growing demand, I've now locked myself in a basement to make even more videos like this till the day MCU dies. Please send help.
Besides the majority of the differences caused by "VFX improvement" & "different take", the only few changes made for the purpose of avoiding spoilers are the added camouflage effect in the airplane fight scene, Vulture's broken wings in the beach fight scene, and the out-of-nowhere Aunt May in the final shot (I mean, Peter was facing the door right before he turned back and took off his mask, how could he not see her? WTF?)
Anyway, as always, screenshots of the matching frames at the end to help you spot the differences more easily, accompanied by the dead silence to help you rethink your life "why am I doing this?".

Colour grading is much more vibrant in the trailers and overall better looking.

It’s because trailers are designed to look better on comercial devices, while the movie is design to look better on cinema/imax screens

1:28 that was a practical shot of the suit in the trailer then they for whatever reason decided to make it entirely cg in the film, same with most of this film, why?????
the suit does look better in the practical version but his movement looks a bit weird, its almost like he's gliding up the wall rather than being attached to it
I like the colors in the trailer better. The movie itself looks so yellowish compared to the trailer scenes

@@confusedungabunga8739 except you would not see muscle and bones through a spandex suit, main problem with movie suit cgi is that jt stuck to peter's body, they remove wrinkles and even made the jawline less round for some reason, all the shots where it looked fine is replaced with cgi for no good reason like in this scenes 0:16 1:28 1:43

Trailers tend to have better looking footage. It’s all in the colour grading. I prefer cooler colours as opposed to a dark tint

. The trailer has the beautiful sun shining down on Spiderman rising next to the American flag with correct shadows giving the scene a full 3d realistic effect. The lighting also gives a lot more detail on the suit and has a whole has solid colours. the final version looks flat and dull. The suit is no longer detailed and the sun and shadows have gone.

Bryan Suarez you’re clearly misunderstood. I specifically said the lighting and shadows give the scene a 3d realistic effect. The final version looks flat due to the lack of shadows and poor lighting while the colours are dull and plain.
@@thechosenone5093 what? no i understood perfectly lol, my point is that is DOES NOT give it a realistic effect because the shadow looks off and the red looks too aggressive, so it seems unrealistic. You're the one that clearly misunderstood lol, the movie shot looks flat by design, it takes place in a different time of day. Not every shot needs to take place at noon with a full sun to look good
