I'm kinda hoping Jon tries a new editor again. Benni was so great at pulling a story out of their day. For example, he would ask Jon leading questions to get the story moving and keep things engaging. He anticipated where the day was going and would get the right shots accordingly.
@@amberbiggs I believe that Jon and Janni want to raise their children in more private manner than they used to live before. I'm sure Jon will do a comeback and vlog on a weekly basis once the kids can be left home alone. Like in 10 to 12 years.
Agreed, I miss the old vlogs with Jon & Benni. Also, once Jon had kids his life became a lot less exciting. I think he really doesn't have much to shoot anymore, and doesn't want to do a family vlog.

I've lived in Bali during pandemic, and left at the end of 2021. I can't imagine how crowded the is place is now. Lombok was absolutely a desert place at the time, but now I really do believe if you are not into parties, and just want a nice paradise, Lombok will suit much better.

Lombok is what Bali used to look like. When it'll get crowded too, rich foreigners like Beni and his friends will move to a "newer, cooler & fresher" spot to have fun adventures in. Real/poor locals will be left behind to deal with the aftermath.

That is why Bali & beyond is the answer to the problem. Bali would better serve as a hub for lesser sunda islands chain, so it can manage the tourism in the island more properly. I mean beaches in nusa Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Rote and gosh those beaches in Sumba island (tarimbang,nihi,dassang,laicucu,mbawana and many many more) are amazing and all those islands are within 1 hour flight only from Bali. Hope tourism infras get better and better each year. So more people get to know what Indo has to offers.

I went to Labuan Bajo in 2021, and then Bali 2022 and felt so sad and want to go back to Hongkong, but in the morning I go to Lombok and I felt… this is the Island that I need in my life! 😂 gonna move to Lombok next year after finish my work in Jakarta.

Not a bad video, you had a speck of something either on your port or lens during the first snorkeling scenes. Always clean before shooting...
Also - all this showed was there are some nice spots left on Lombok (vs. all the tourist crap)... Bali is still unique, and still fewer backpackers.
If u want good hospitality, parties all Night long.. Come to Bali.. But if u prefer peaceful moments, just enjoy your time in limitless beautiful nature.. Lombok must be in the list..
A lot of the Lombok beaches are full of plastic and other rubbish. It looks terrible and it’s a shame that the government dont do something about it

Spent many trips on bath Bali and Lombok.
Key differences are Lombok is pretty remote and rough around the edges in terms of facilties and luxuries. Quite isolated which for some is a big bonus but others ay be a concern. Not many ( at all) high end resorts which again could be a bonus depending on what your after.
Overall id say south Lombok is prettier than bali but lacks the polish of an international travel desitination. If you are loooking for a diamond in the rough rather than smething a bit more touristy and polished then Lombok is probably better than South Bali.
Saying that, areas in north east bali like Virgin Beach and Candidassa have the exact same vibes as South Lombok.
Lombok has so much diff place to go every single place has something new that make it difference than bali, ur just exploring 10% of lombok if ur juat going to south lombok, gili or senggigi

If you have ever been in bali you know that everyone rides it anyway, even kids 😂 usually there are only cops in the main city
