you can use 100 % percent silicone it hardens hard, and it comes in white and transparent color, I will choose the white cause then it is similar to fast-curing resin. If you are using hot glue, and the surface is not flat on top, you can pop them in an oven so that hot glue can self-level.

I am soooooooooo excited I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this I tried with the smaller glue gun and A big stick it would not come out so I’ll go buy a bigger gun but my gun looks like it’s the same size you have!!!I’m prettty impatient just like you!!!! but I just heard the key word from your mouth let the glue heat up I was trying to push it through before the glue had a chance to heat up yes yes I’m so excited!!!!!! Thank you thank you

Hello Tracy I created the molds using your concept but what did you use to glue to your furniture.

Just a heads up about using caulking to fill moulds. DO NOT USE %100 SILICON caulking! It will totally ruin your mould. What you want to use is a caulking that has SOME silicon in it. The silicon will keep what you have cast flexible & will not stick to & ruin your mould.

Please can you tell me the size of larger glue stick you use? I have mini glue gun but am contemplating buying the larger one. Thanks. Love your advice.

Are you using wood glue to attach to your board?

So would gorilla glue be most durable?

I was so curious about this , I have to admit I was afraid to use this way (hot glue) I was afraid it would ruin my molds. Let’s admit they are not cheap. I will try , I’m the same impatient. Thx I will try

Dear Tracey, I like you show, you’re very clever and smart. I just start using hot glue gun for casting some craft after watching your show, but I have a problem, there’s a lot of bubbles with my casting. Will you give me an advice how to avoid that. Thank you for sharing, really appreciate. God bless you. Anna from Seal Beach

Hello Anna!! I’m so glad you are trying your had at this nifty trick. The key here would be to keep the nozzle of the hot glue submerged as you are filling. That way you are accidentally trapping bubbles. Make sure you have plenty of glue for the application and that the glue is super hot when applying and you should be good to go. Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions!!

Takes too long and the glue starts to dry in spots before you apply the layers fully this is a hard one to try and accomplish 🤦🏽‍♀️

If it starts to dry blast it with a heat gun and it will smooth out. 😬
