The IMF and World Bank is on our doorstep because we borrowed excessively to the extent that close 70% of our revenue suffice first charge debt. Our Eurobonds became due in the last three months that we could not service. Our trajectory was clearly a default. Ghana had the same set of economic challenges like us and defaulted. Spiraling the inflation of Ghana to almost 70% . Our smart president, Dr. Ruto and his economic team packaged a plan that convinced IMF and World Bank to refinance our Eurobonds. IMF and World Bank does not invite itself to us. It's our irresponsible borrowing that makes us vulnerable to these institutions.

My concern is: does Otiende receive a salary equivalent to his contributions or they receive the same pay as the dunderheads???

I did not get any valid points from the lawyer in opposing the bill. He has engaged generalist and default propositions centred around the need for misplaced citizen-driven and people-focused theories. What the lawyer failed to do was to dissect the bill, the rationale behind the bill, and alternative approaches of addressing the problems the finance bill was meant to cure.
The kwanza MP, Ferdinand Wanyonyi has been a member since 2007, But I have never seen or heard him in this house, unfortunately he voted Yes, hopefully it's his last term
