Joe is the only guy I’ve heard where you don’t miss the extra drums. Like no hi-hat on such a burning tune is wild. And he drives so hard and so relaxed
Dave Kikoski idea man, wow. What a treat. And Joe swinging on a minimalist drum kit (sometimes a vomvo here and there). John keeping the band walking at such a fast tempo for such a long time. Eric should be happy (we all heard he was) playing with such a company. Thanks, Ms. Manning!
One of the most inspirational things i've heard in a long time. Incredible work by Joe on a minimal drum set. Unbelivable effort by Dave on keys! Joe looks excellent as always.
That piano solo sounds like Cecil Taylor, Art Tatum. Glenn Gould, J.S. Bach, and a player piano all lost their minds together, and took it out on a keyboard using only 2 hands.
_"...using only 2 hands"?!_ How did all of those people decide which two hands would get to play?? And how did they all fit on one piano bench?? I mean, Art Tatum wasn't exactly a small fellow!! This raises so many questions. And if owls are so wise, how come they always ask _"who",_ but never ask _"why"???_
What an honour it must have been to witness this music so intimately in the FLESH

Amazing playing! Out if only a snare, kick and ride, Joe make it sounds so big and sophisticated, highly respect! A legend of this generation.

U have also.
Bass player too ! Great ears !
Wow
2:53 heats up
No amplifing on the bass! That's cruel!
Imagine *not playing loud all the fucking time*. No need for amplification if everyone plays *musically*
It's only right to play like Roy behind Kikoski.
Linda, could you please give reference for Eric's "Tune for Ernie"?
Who's on the piano?
