Thanks you too it’s been a incredibly hard journey the last eight days but I have finally turned the corner and him slowly on the mend I’m very excited to live a life where I can walk without pain in the next couple months so thanks for the love thanks for the video and yeah can’t wait to see what you do with that Ten Second Songs duet.
Peter Hollens Wishing you nothing but a speedy recovery, cuz u are a very positive, loving person who'll be done w/all the constant pain & feel happier again w/support from your adorable family! Happy that u & Tim got to know each other during (diff.) college days thru a cappella & it came full circle!! U sound beeoootiful together, ur arrangements are amazing & the vids are gorgeous! (I used to live in Portland, so I know)! How about u & Tim arrange something together? Best of luck & God bless!😍
I am sending you positive thoughts and prayers for a very speedy recovery Peter! I know what it is like to live with constant pain, so I am so very happy for you to finally be able to be rid of it! This was a BEAUTIFUL video and song! You and Tim make magic when to combine your voices!! Can't wait to see what you guys do next!
My thoughts and prayers for your recovery.. I know what it's like being in constant pain.. Hope you have painfree days ahead.. I really enjoy all your music..
I loved how the 2 of you both tilted your head to the side at the same time to read the song list! Lol!! They did this sooo beautifully! I'm still amazed at how Tim can jump from register to register flawlessly like that! My word! And Peter's voice is just perfect too!! Love when these 2 come together! Thx guys!
Thanks for this reaction. 💗 Greensleeves is my favourite Peter + Tim collaboration. I love the arrangement, the harmonies they chose to go for, the video, how Tim shows his vocal range, and especially how he sings operatically in some parts. I know Tim has been working on another solo project (not sure what exactly it is), but I would love to hear him give a go to a cappella arrangements in Peter's style = all the tracks sung by only him; and I would love to hear him sing some unexpected genres, too, because he really seems to have numerous different voices hidden within his vocal folds. (A fun tidbit: My friend thought Tim was a hard rock singer when she first saw him in Misty Mountains, and still wants him to sing in that style at least once. 😂)
At Last!!! I told you so. I knew you would just be speechless as I was. The video starts with the sound of the waves, and then the background harmonies when they come in, roll in like waves as well the first time they go from duo to full background. The wonderful things this version does with the minor harmonies is thrilling to surround yourself with. OF course, with both these guys having great ranges the breadth and scope of the harmonies in background is amazing. Love those lush and full Tim notes. This is my favorite and I have kept coming back and back to see when you would react to it. THANK Ya'll!
Thanks for another great reaction! I sure hope you guys get to see one of their shows while they're in Germany! I would love to hear your reaction to actually seeing them live, and maybe even getting a chance to talk to them!
Soooo glad you finally reacted to Green Sleeves! I am a huge fan of Peter Hollens and Tim Foust, and can not get enough of the music they do togehter! I knew you would appreciate hearing Tim, flexing his vocal range!!! Magic happens when you put these two together on ANYTHING!!!
Thanks for your reaction! I knew you'ld love it, it's an amazing song/video. You really get to hear Tims vocals, it's so effortless/seamlessly. And combon Peter and Tim is a sure thing, pure magic❤ Love this one so much ❤
Stunning! I love watching your reactions and you need not say a word as your facial expressions and body language speak volumes. You quite often emulate the way I feel listening to such amazing talent. As Peter said y'all are the best at reacting! Kudos to one and all! And I love your shirt Ali.
Simply magicial! I already bought the folk album the first day, and can't wait to get my grubby little hands on that baby. lol! BTW- Peter lives in the state of Oregon, and this and BOTW were both filmed there. Hope you guys got your tickets to the Home Free concert in Germany, already, because Tim said yesterday that the tickets were going fast. Sweden sold out within 2 days time.
This collaboration of two people has produced better and better music. I loved Bridge Over Troubled Water but this one actually appealed to me on so many levels. I know the melody of Greensleeves for Christmas music the melody is Greensleeves. I was so glad that Peter decided to put the actual words of the song in description. I've been listening to more of Peter's music, I too wish him well, physical therapy is not fun. For what he, Peter does in collaborations, allows for those moments of surprise, i.e. Tim's crazy range. We so little of the time get to hear that high register that he has. I'm almost sad that school time is over because there is so much of this arrangement to talk about with my students. I loved it, love your shout out to Peter, and am so grateful that you did this reaction.
Please say you two have gotten tickets to one of the 4 Home Free shows in Germany already? I will be very sad if you are unable to go. We Fries can talk all we want about how amazing and funny Home Free shows are, but until you experience it, it’s just talk. I hope you two can go and you should “vlog” the experience 😉. As for this video. This one is right up there with Sound of Silence for me. So very pretty (vocals and scenery)!
OK, I know this is an older posting of yours....but, I have a request for you. Austin Brown has put a really really great solo video I thought you guys might like . It’s a cover of “UNCHAINED MELODY” , was a huge hit in the end of th 60’s. Bobby Hatfield of THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS. HE blew me away!!! Hope you check it out🙃‼️. Thank You, Joanie in Texas 💖🙃‼️
Do you like the christian songs home free and sometimes pentatonix sing? Do you like Extremelly talented Bass singers? Check out Valor with Paul David Kennamer, the three I suggest are: Lay it Down, Old Ship of Zion and How Great Thou Are Sincerelly one of my favourite western bass singers of all time
Hi guys! I recommend this new video! Sohyang - You raise me up(immortal songs2) ruclips.net/video/te_L9ofhUt8/видео.html Shane Filan was a special guest of this show! ※Attention The copyright of this video is strict, so you have to edit 😢 I hope you enjoy it ♥
Ty for posting and reacting to beautiful things. Would it be too far out of the wheelhouse for y'all to react to Bjorling and Merrill's duet the Pearl Fishers. I bet some of your fans may not know of it. Thanks again for your good work.
I really wish they would have stuck with either just the 2 voices, or maybe 4. When so many layers of harmony are added you can barely hear the leads. But, I must say this is very beautiful.
Hi guys. I am so NOT with it! I did not know that Peter needed surgery, and for whatever reason. I just don't spend as much time on the web or social media as most people. I even do watch actual TV shows. Some of the old stuff from when I was a child is shown everyday. Kinda interesting to see it again with older eyes. Peter teased us at the end of the Bridge Over Troubled Water video with a "second" video that they shot while they were out there. Yes, such a tease! It's hard for me to listen to a song that I know without singing, but I made it a point while I watched your reaction. It is easy to forget how beautiful the song is when you sing with it. They are really brilliant at arranging. Tim, and Peter both, are brilliant at arranging. I think that sometimes less is more, and acapella is so striped down, and then refilled with just voices, less and more at the same time. I am very glad that you got to react to this one before it got too "old". (Old, ha, ha) Bad pun, I know. My humor can be a bit dry. It's tough when your audience seldom gets the jokes. My husband being my audience. Best wishes to Peter. My grandmother, and mother underwent hip replacement surgery. (Osteoporosis is a bummer. Hope I don't fall in that line, too.) I hope it is easier for him as he is younger. Yes, best wishes indeed! Thanx, Mindy
Drieux Koeppel I sort of garnered that from what they said, but he is so young. Would you happen to now why this was necessary? I am filled with concern for him. Thanx, Mindy
Mindy Lafler It was necessary. I’m not sure if it’s a congenital condition, but I do know he was in terrible pain 24/7. I’m an RN who’s done orthopedic nursing. Rest assured, an orthopedist wouldn’t do this surgery if there was any other way to relieve the pain. This hip implant is designed to last 20-25 years. It’s mostly titanium. I’m positive his orthopedist told him he likely will need to do it again later in his life. His wife is expecting their second child in July-I suspect that’s why he did this now. Once he gets past the initial discomfort and gets going on physical therapy, he’ll improve rapidly. Personally, I had s total hip replacement in November 2016. I was 56. I had torn the cartilage (labrum) lining the socket (acetabulum) of my left hip. No other procedure would take care of the pain. I couldn’t go upstairs for months beforehand. Now, I’m perfectly fine, and I expect Peter will be, too-as long as he works on his PT! So don’t worry. An orthopedist would NOT do this on anyone his age without a clear cut medical reason!
Drieux Koeppel Thank you for letting me know. I remember my grandmother telliing me that her hip hurt pretty much all the time after the surgery. My mother actually died 2 weeks after the surgery from an opportunistic infection at the incision site, which required IV antibiotics. This in turn, killed her kidneys. She had a DNR on file ahead of time, so I couldn't really do anything but let her go at 67. Osteoporisis is so horrible for my family. I am 54, and haven't broen bones as yet. My grandmother broke her hip, her pinky, and her back several times while grocery shopping and pushing the cart around. She broke her pelvis getting the mail when she turned 81, and got the same type of pneumonia that killed Jim Henson, while in the hospital. My mother broke her feet a few times before she was 55. I guess I've been lucky. I have not had a bone density scan done. $$$. I am blonde, blue-eyed, under 5 feet tall , and a family history. Hmm... I am indeed lucky. Thank you, Hun. Mindy
Mindy Lafler the new hip implants are amazing. No pain at all after the initial recovery from surgery. That IS painful, no doubt about that. I also have a left total knee replacement. I have severe arthritis, with bone spurs (called ‘osteophytes”) that tear away at my cartilage. Have you gone to a Planned Parenthood clinic? Many will give you low or no-cost referrals for bone density scans and mammograms. You didn’t say how old you are, but if you’re over 50, that’s crucial to get a baseline. Insurance covers bone scans. If you are uninsured, PP is the first route I’d consider.
Great reaction as usual. By the way, check out Haley Reinhart new vid, all acoustic guitar, soft drums and sultry voice... ruclips.net/video/JtrhxHiqXT4/видео.html

Rebecca Phillips , that was the rumor, but it could never be verified.
OK Wait! Do I see Dragon Eggs on the shelf behind ya'll? WHAT!
