I like Gav, but what do kings pay him, and does he currently fit into what kings are trying to build, At this point, I'm pretty confused about what exactly this team is. Gavrikov would be great for a team that's already established and can solidify their defense. I don't think kings are even close to being established at this point.
Kings are nothing different than the last few seasons. They still can't score, pp sucks. They are the middle of a road team just above the horrible teams but not really hanging with the contenders. Let's not forget, Pacific has been probably the weakest div in hockey. Oilers are struggling, and kings have had really easy schedule so far. Kings recently went 0-3 against Vancouver, Calgary and Avalanche.
