I like Gav, but what do kings pay him, and does he currently fit into what kings are trying to build, At this point, I'm pretty confused about what exactly this team is. Gavrikov would be great for a team that's already established and can solidify their defense. I don't think kings are even close to being established at this point.

Kings are nothing different than the last few seasons. They still can't score, pp sucks. They are the middle of a road team just above the horrible teams but not really hanging with the contenders. Let's not forget, Pacific has been probably the weakest div in hockey. Oilers are struggling, and kings have had really easy schedule so far. Kings recently went 0-3 against Vancouver, Calgary and Avalanche.

I believe some athletes have a natural ability for certain things at which they excel. Clarke obviously is talented offensively. I hope kings coaches let him develop without limiting his obvious gift.

I think Spence becomes irreplaceable this season. Clarke takes big strides. Kings compete for top 3 in the Pacific till DD comes back. Then they go on a tear and take the #1 seed.

I am not keen on the jersey switch. Glad we are stopping the 1-3-1 play.

Are the Kings going to switch the forecheck to a 2-2-1? I know they are going to be switching the neutral zone 1-3-1.. Are they still gonna use the 1-3-1 on the power play? Last season they didn't have a right hander with Vilardi traded and Arvi injured all season. They have Lafferriere who has been working on his shot all summer. Fagemo has a massive 1 timer in that spot and Thomas has a lot of experience on Ontario's #1 unit. Clarke could also slot in as a right handed 1 timer on the left side.

L.A Kings got Darcy Kuemper from Washington Crapitals in the trade from PLD. Now Kuemper back in Los Angeles, and Dubois went to Washington.

I get the Edmundson stuff, but it's important to remember that there were 4 other teams in on him who were top teams. Apparently it was FLA, NYR and NSH, these are pretty good teams with smart people at the top. The dogging of the Kings leadership is just odd to me.

We’ve all been salivating for our youth to get a real shot at playing in NHL full time. There are a lot of “if’s” but if all our youth play real well, this could be a very good team. But if they don’t “kill” it next year, i don’t know where our secondary scoring is gonna come from and could be a bad season.
