You can search for dev when you tipe faceinthegame at the top of the screen in game. I buy Paolo Bonato every time for this reason.
If you search faceinthegame in the search engine it comes up with all the people involved in making the game and all that that’s then put into the game as newgen’s

If the 2 finals turn out well you might actually get 1 of the 2 extra UCL spots for the 2 best performing countries.
So we did actually get the 2nd spot, but due to weird permutations it actually didn't get us an extra team in Europe, it did bump us straight to the UCL group stage though so i can't complain
Most meta-gamey loan farm thing I've found recently is affiliates. My Irish loan farm save I got Bray Wanderers about 3rd place in the 2nd tier. I sent them 15 players (I was signing players not just for the loan farm in general but for Bray specifically) and at least a 4 star potential in every position. Based on our star ratings a 4 star will probably be around 150PA. It built an entire team in one window. Nothing I have ever done in terms of loaning players out to clubs has been that effective at getting a loan farm friend team. The strategy does require them having 1 or 2 players that are good (clubs only taking 3rd best player on loan type stuff, but it also seems this can be pushed more with affiliate clubs too)
Also I have had the same issue with stars not showing for loan teams. From what I've gathered if you use the Loan Farm View on other teams the game seems to get confused over your own players, and if it bugs out will do so for that day, but if you skip ahead a day and view initially from the Dev centre and bring up the guys through your reserves screen that seems to fix it.
That's a really fun way of playing BaN 😄 only problem is that when they get promoted, you lose the affiliation but hey, if they're set for the future, that's dope
We've actually been trying to do something similar to that with Dingli in the second tier, but we can just never get them good enough quality players to start with to get the ball rolling, i hope one day we can as you've proved it's clearly possible! The stars thing is super weird and as you say the game it's very confused, i was offering out our players for loan today and i got a list of news items saying "Sirens Reject Sirens Bid For Player X" haha
@@Secondyellowcard I had Longford as an affiliate club for two seasons and they seemingly made players worse, didnt develop the guys I sent them and changed formation making the best players redundant. I ended up cancelling the affiliate and got Bray who I'd loaned a couple of guys to when they were in the top division so would fortunately take some great young players. The thing that made this easier, I cancelled and re-requested a new affiliate at 5* rep. The 5* rep also seemed to have the effect of players at 16 wanting to sign meaning when they turned 17 they had a low enough CA to go on loan. So it may be a better play down the line in a BaN save. It is so worth it though. I estimate I have about 13 European quality players which is more than I have managed to get to my 4th and 5th best teams combined in that time.

Players can reach their PA up to when they get to 27, after that, it stops growing and starts dropping after 30sih. It's a bit different for goalkeepers. Ignore the stars, they lie. I did a few saves with the editor on just so I could see the PA of players and I was getting like 2-3 stars of potential in scout reports on youngsters with 150+ PA.

I had an idea, to take control of the whole league, all clubs, and just manage them like MLS does.
You have one main club, and in others you just do transfers and other administrative stuff, and go on holiday. At least you won't have problem with loans...

It is totally, by adding one manager that you control for every club in a League ! Very effective I would imagine (especially for loans), but I guess it would also be extremely time consuming. And in those kinds of challenges, especially at the start of them, you want to go through the seasons quickly so your reputation, facilities and players improve enough for you to actually compete on the continental level. But it would be fun too, let us know if you try something similar!
It's totally possible, i'd say, but as Judu says it'd be very time consuming and i think would lose one of my favourite elements of these save. Supporting the other teams on their European journeys as a fan. Which although it's taken us 15 seasons to get to that point, is easily the most fun i have in FM atm. Watching our loanees like a proud father haha

Haha i dunno if you remember last year i did a video with a team playing their matches as the altitude of Mount Everest. We've found a way to break the editor to allow us to play matches at the height of the International Space Station. And with FM24s new altitude and weather effect mechanics, we are expecting chaos!

Save idea:Make a second tier league in any country (preferably lower down) and make it better than the first tier in reputation and you have to do it without ever leaving the second tier. Like a Build a Nation
