Just got mine few days ago in rhodium white, it has iStop and heated steering wheel, on black leather with red stitching and also have the 7” display in the instrument cluster but it doesn’t have the off-road traction assist and home link.
i picked up my 2024 cx5 carbon edition yesterday. i am so pleased with this beautiful car, love the Bose stereo and 19 inch wheels. i got the black interior with red stitching. no start/stop too, we made sure it doesn't have it! very good deal on the price too, 2k off msrp and 2.9% mazda financing. super excited!!!!
My daughter bought her carbon yesterday. I was surprised that anew car doesn’t come standard with wireless CarPlay. She’ll have to use the cord if she wants to use it. Aside from that, the car is terrific. Drive is not harsh. Stereo sounds good. Red leather reminds me of the XM.
I like it, but Stop/Start & Cylinder-Deactivation engine tech isn't something that I want on my vehicle unless I can turn them both off in settings (& they stay off until turned back on). So, I would have to have one without those features.
Jonathan mentioned that this car doesn't have iStop. I believe I read that they also aren't including cylinder deactivation on Cx-5's delivered after November 2023.

I almost bought one just like this, but the dealership couldn’t find it like they thought they had in, and it was even listed on their website as well. it eventually got to the point they started thinking somebody maybe stole it. So I had to buy a different Mazda, a cx 30 premium. The color is soul red, but I call her Ruby.
I don't understand the love for sunroofs, much less a panoramic one. I don't like baking in the sun while driving. Every car that has had a sunroof, I always keep the shade closed. Not slaming you for liking it, to each their own. Hard to get a car without one with any options on it.
@@mogators i live in nevada with 115 degree weather in the summertime...i never use the sunroof in the daytime..but at night the kids do enjoy it! Makes it fun for thise road trips to california!

@Jonathan Sewall. I agree. The CE would pop so much more if they painted the cladding gloss black. Seems the Mazda management likes to make bizarre design decisions.

yeah I agree. the carbon turbo only comes in white or the zircon sand and it looks terrible especially with the gloss black around the wheels IMO. Mazda has done some weird stuff with the packaging of the CX-5
The turbo engine, 360° camera, trajectory on the rear camera, front parking sensor, heated steering wheel, auto-folding side mirrors, rear heated seats, plus maybe a few other things that I’m overlooking.
I just don’t get WHY they would make a beige-like color interior roof. Like, what the hell!!!! And also comparing it to the hatchback model with red interior, why would they make front dash all black instead of red as well to match the seats like the hatchback does?

**Beware****** We have a 2021 CX5 carbon edition non turbo bought it brand new. It only has 45k miles and already has an oil pan gasket leak and front cover seal leak. They will fix it under warranty but really only at 45k and having leaks already 🤯🤯😡😡😡😡😡 I also have a 2020 CX5 touring bought brand new also , it has 70k miles on it. It has had the ghosting infotainment, and a bad ambient temperature sensor. If you get your car serviced at the dealer don't expect them to advise you about leaks. We had to go to a independant shop to find out about this !!!!!
Missing fog lights and its underpowered this vehicle should be at least 200 horsepower, if you have 5 people seating in the car the car the car will have hard time to runs

You can enable the touchscreens on settings even on the older models. Your buying this vehicle transmission, ride quality. Its the 2nd cheapest awd entry level option. Subaru would the 1st.

Either the 2024/25 Mazda BT50 or the upcoming Mazda -body on frame- truck is what we need in the US.
Has the uncomfortable seats issue been solved in the 2024 models? I test drive the 2023 model and felt so uncomfortable after 10 minutes of driving.
I want to know this too. I have the 2018 Mazda 3 Sport and ready to buy a AWD SUV but I can't do the uncomfortable seats.

Nah. Looks much better with color matched door handles. Carbon Edition is very nice especially for the price.
Keep the handles normal but all Mazdas that have dark interiors need the black headliner

I may have missed this but what transmission is in this vehicle.

The CX-5 continues some features from 2017 body style. The turbos have LED, and the CX-30 and CX-50 have them.
