    This video shows the difference between Royer R-121 and SE Electronics Voodoo VR1, both are ribbon microphones.​
    No effects in the signal chain, just the mics, cables (Sommercable carbokab 225), interface (Apollo X8) and the DAW (Logic Pro X).
    No Unison preamp Plugins were used! Instead of the Bricasti M7 Boston Hall preset, we didn't use any other plugins/effects in the DAW.
    If you are interested in the sound of some unison plugins, please let me know!

    Mic position was off axis, about 150 centimeters away from the instruments, pointed to the edge of the bell.
    Unfortunately the room is a bit boomy around 200 Hz.
