Literally everything he complains about in this game including those "spammy" moves can be countered by just labbing, that chun li won by doing an overhead mixup that can be blocked but Phil just keep mashing and then claims it was the netcode lmao, he just doesn't want to put any effort into improving

I'll never understand why Phil can't seem to predict and counter this pattern play that's so pervasive since he plays so intelligently.
Hes old and slow
Phil actually has the uncanny ability to predict what his opponent is going to do. This is 100% true. However, because Phil is old, slow, and a loser, he can’t do anything to counter it.

He legitimately, absolutely believes that if it weren't for dropped inputs, lag, "mashing", or whatever the excuse is, that he'd be undefeated and ranked #1 in the world with zero losses. He actually says, "the only reason I ever lose is *insert excuse here*". His narcissism is completely out of control.
It's all because he's "online" -- if he was playing these guys in person he would absolutely be #1... he just avoids actually playing anyone in person because he's afraid how badly he'd beat them.

I like how he always hid behind "I'm playing a character when I stream" -- but now he's intentionally trying not to be toxic and he can't. The "character" thing is such an obvious lie.
There were like 3 players that had Phil beaten but lost due to dropping their combo. In this situation Phil says “they blew it!” Or “they dropped their combo!”
When his opponent drops a combo he’s assume it was a mistake on their end. When his combo drops it’s the games fault.
The textbook definition of fundamental attribution error. Phil could basically be the poster child for a number of cognitive biases.
Everything he says is just a lie, doesn't need to be analyzed or compared. When something doesn't go his way he immediately makes up whatever excuse makes the most sense for why it happened.

If philbertus is to be believed, Tony Cannon, or as phail likes to call him "that man", is to be blamed for all the bad things befalling phill in SF6. Tony Cannon wrote the netcode so that it specifically drops phill's inputs, but no one else has the issue.
The netcode is a detractor 100% confirmed
Just imagine how good his ranking would be if it wasn't for the cheating net code, dropped inputs, pattern players and laggy matches. He'd never lose, cause he does nothing wrong.
Typical Phil. "I dont know why my anti air didn't hit him I did it perfectly to stop his jump in." In reality he did the "anti-air" before the ken even jumped.
I think maybe a few dents warned Phil that some of the toxic shit he’s been saying in his SF6 streams could net him a suspension. Either that or YT themselves warned him.
The only time he tries to change is when his channel or income are at risk
I think people has reported him and somehow YT actually did something about it this time. This guy has never changed his awful and toxic nature.

@@Shibu_PLa dent is someone who throws a lot of money at dsp either in short increments or in a large sum. They also like being abused by him. Kiss his ass, coddle him and have no self respect. They do free work for him, pamper him, are his punching bags, hold his hand when he's playing games and report to him about his detractors and if there's anything negative being said about him. They believe everything he says too.

So if I'm to believe Phil. People he's fighting intentionally have bad internet connection to make sure they can win at Street Fighter 6.
Or once I think he claimed they are the hosts so the bad connection gets priority.
None of his excuses make sense but he has a nice variety of them.
Why does phil pretend like patterns are unblockables? Just download the pattern, and your opponent has to adapt or they're done for😂

Pop still has more wins over dsp and did win a set. There was also an instance where pop could've won a round but messed. But yeah blanka is dsp's best character. It's impressive that pop won a set and still made it competitive in every round.
Im not a big SF player, I like my 3D area games. But, the imputs don't look dropped? One towards the beginning of the video, seemed like the hit caused a slight stagger. Then when he tried to combo into.. i dunno level whatever and it didn't connect after the kick, looked as if he missed the timing and or, that super just didn't string with that kick lol.
There is no such thing as dropped inputs. Nobody else bitches about it. Its just an excuse for phil. In a game with precise fast inputs, you cant spam buttons. Because the game will read those inputs and change based on what you push.
And most of the time when he says that be blocked or parried, you can hear him slamming the button late as shit.
His reflexes, hand eye coordination, timing and skill level are very very bad.
@@Puddspanker i can hear the slamming on the arcade stick lol. But, I think when he says, "dropped inputs", he either does a combo that isn't timed and it goes to do something else, or he just.. smashes buttons and like you said, it throws something else out. I have very little 2D fighting experience. Only played FighterZ and Blazeblue, but I know in those games if you miss time the button on a combo, your opponent will get out of it, causing you to have a dropped combo lol.

If you watch him play, he rarely does combos. He just spams whatever moves he can remember to do. He relies on throwing too. That's like his bread and butter.
And he was always a douche contrarian back in the day. Everyone else thought throws were weak and lame to use, and phil would get on the FGC forums and act like a self righteous snob who uses throws because hes better than everyone.
It's just funny to watch this dude play. Constantly saying and acting like he knows what's going on. Constantly saying how he cant do anything about it. Yet refuses to go practice in his own time, or practice agaisnt an AI. He just loves being a victim.

Pattern play is such a stupid excuse.
It's either a - block string, practiced combo or other such sequence of attacks that the opponent has practiced to make it natural to use on muscle memory.
When I use Asuka on Tekken I have a combo I can use on any wall splat my fingers will input before I even think about it.
Phil himself does the exact same with his pattern play yet it's absolutely fine for him to do it.
That being said my absolute favourite complaint he's mentioned about the opponent is "mashing jump", to start with you don't even need to mash, you just hold an up direction. Also if someone is always doing it just uppercut in some way.
He really expected to be drenched in tips and subs for his new "pahsitivity" (still whined and cried like a baby)

He has luck on his side because, like myself, I have no idea about street fighter. I don’t like DSP so I don’t listen but the dents probably hang on every word and believe him especially if they don’t understand street fighter. I see loads of people correcting what DSP really did wrong in the comments so here’s my petition for someone to make a YT channel dedicated to debunking DSP and pointing out what he is doing wrong!!!
