4:35 to do half the climbing for solar panels, connect to the next root combiner input before going back upstairs. Meaning each trip up or down is another wire connected and halving the time.
Recommended Improvements: The turret doors should close when out of ammo. You could setup a notification when your laser/ shotgun trap is triggered. Your roof needs a turret aswell. Your roof needs a SAM. 3 is ideal.
If you connect a branch from the solar panels to a blocker that originally connects the lighting to the power this will make your lights automatically turn on at night time 💪
Heya dude, loving ur vids, they r helping a lot. I've watched this one almost 3 times now lol. Curious, what base design r u using here pls? Also could u pls do a vid about using the igniter in a small furnace room (suitable for rust console) and also a boat base automatic entry and exit setup if u don't mind pls. Just realized, I could use the heli entry vid u put out. Still would be handy tho. Thanks bud!
I'm glad they're helpful for you! The base design is based off of an Evil Wurst design. I'll make a tutorial on my version of it. Check out my latest review video to see if that furnace setup works for you! I'm always here to help.
I managed a mint boat docking system with ur help thanks, now I just need to figure out how to compound and have a boat able to enter, hopefully the water ain't too deep for the gates lol
Another awesome video! If I wanted to have 2 or 3 back up batteries do I add 1 or 2 OR switch’s? I think it would be a total of 3 OR switches with 3 blockers.
Hey man, I love the electrics and stuff. I learned a lot that I didn't know about from this video, Is there any way you would be able to link the base video tutorial as well?
I think you missing in this build AUTO HELI DOORS with landing lights, other than this great video. PS What I would suggest is try for your next video make intro first by showcasing what you are making (full build) like you've done in the end of this video "Music video base tour", also put comments in intro on each scene in intro something like "Back up batteries, automated lights, etc..." so people understand what they looking in. PPS Tutorial are great, but seeing in how it works with real base like in this video is more interesting. When you make a base build from scratch and electricity to it. You can make lots of videos with full builds like small/medium/clan farm base with full electricity tutorial and even go further and how to grow up god clone and collect farm, but without full explanation just like you put it here here and here and you get this. you know like full build from start to finish for lazy so they can repeat after your video and have it work straight away this way people gonna come back to your videos so they can repeat it every wipe/server. Maybe some fully automated boat bases, water bases, oil rig chad automated base full builds. Adding electricity to already existing popular bases. Just my 2 cents. Great content anyways.
i love the simplicity of the circuit! BUT :D i would suggest using the bottom battery in core as backup and the top battery as primary because the charging of the primary takes way longer and if its destroyed its not so bad because the battery backup in core will have more charge as the primary because its not in use. so you want your backup to be more secure then the primary but in that case i would place more solar panels just to be sure the backup gets enough power to charge
Absolutely, you can decide which battery is the primary. I chose to put it inside the bunker portion of the base but obviously this is just personal preference!
i find doing it like this when one battery dies the or switch kicks in but soon as 1st battery has slightest power it switches back out, i prefer the aproach of using the solar panels themselves as power then when its dark uses the batery as power giving you a unlimited cycle of power from one bateryy
Nice! Check out the latest version of the battery backup I put out. It doesn't bounce between batteries like that one does. But that's also a good strategy.
Hi I followed your tutorial but my main battery has active usage of 99 but the battery dies so quickly but I only have connected 3 lights and 3 turrets , 1 windmill and 9 solar panels and its still not recharging that fast so it just dies and idk what do to with it .
Regarding the first question, three turrets and three lights should only be about 33-37 active usage depending on switches. I'm guessing you have a Branch Switch (or multiple) set to a high value. To calculate how much charge you need, it's [active usage ÷ 0.8 = charge requirement]. Or, just make sure a large battery always gets at least 126v if you don't want to calculate.
Dude you should put the combiners underneath the solar panels so you don't have to do all that running and then take that power cord from all that down
New to rust and electricity. Is there a way to make the light automatically turn on with the wind turbines? I'm having such a hard time finding someone who did this with two batteries
What do you mean with "by wind turbines"? If Gneissish is right, you probably should consider to use an XOR-Switch. One Input form the main power source and one from a solar panel directly connected. I did not try this yet, but if the solarpanel does not produce any power then, the XOR would set one input to 0 Input and passthrough the power to the light.
This is a slightly adapted version of the Evil Wurst's base Serenity! The only difference is that my access to the heli garage is from the outside (so no jump up inside the 2nd floor). I might make a video about new mods I made to it in the future.
So many , One light can light up 3 levels , why waste power ? Usually use that Xor 4 switches one deep one at front door on one light ..... Blue flasher nice at front off pass through ie reminder during day....
You're correct, there are many ways of doing this, including some that are more efficient. However, the goal of this video is to give players new to electrical a starting point from which to learn.
BIG video with tons of info - see chapters. Be sure to check out the music video base tour at the end...
Thank you!
Slept like a baby thank you so much
54:52 You could plant a pumpkin to cover the HBS; covers it up and tempts people to pick them.
That's an amazing idea lol
rofl im trying this asap
4:35 to do half the climbing for solar panels, connect to the next root combiner input before going back upstairs. Meaning each trip up or down is another wire connected and halving the time.
Awesome work. Great demo
RUclips algo is catching you for my results! Loving the in depth and natural style and vibes. Gg!
Hey that's awesome! Thank you!
Great video u explained it perfectly. Best power vid I have seen and most helpful 👌
Awesome, thank you!
Wow u put a lot of time in your video Man U deserve a like and a sub
Thank you! I appreciate the support.
im bout to be a tree electrician journeyman from all your videos
Nice!

hey men, ty for the vids they realy helpt me a f ton keep it up
Great video congrats
Man I learned so much. Thanks for your very detailed video!
You're welcome!
Nice video keep up good work
Thanks for the video really help me with my set up, liked, commented and subscribed!
That's great! I'm glad it helped. And thank you for the support. I really appreciate it.

Lol the wired in the beginning. Just makes a tutorial as his wires are everywhere. Lmao that was funny man.
I'm glad someone thought it was funny lol

Would love to know how to add to this existing circuit “ie” adding windmill or couple more panels ? Awesome video man
crazy good video bro! what do you use to edit your videos???
Thanks! I use Adobe CC for all editing and Snappa for my thumbnails.
Another awesome video! If I wanted to have 2 or 3 back up batteries do I add 1 or 2 OR switch’s? I think it would be a total of 3 OR switches with 3 blockers.
base2 logic matters on root combiners or you limit out fast.
Hey man, I love the electrics and stuff. I learned a lot that I didn't know about from this video, Is there any way you would be able to link the base video tutorial as well?
It's based off of an Evil Wurst base design, The Serenity. One of these days I'll post a video on my version of it, but it's not far off the original!
I think you missing in this build AUTO HELI DOORS with landing lights, other than this great video.

You missed a root combiner at the beginning while hooking them up to the last 5

How do you get this to work with 12 turrets?
Hi I followed your tutorial but my main battery has active usage of 99 but the battery dies so quickly but I only have connected 3 lights and 3 turrets , 1 windmill and 9 solar panels and its still not recharging that fast so it just dies and idk what do to with it .
I also have another question, how can I add more turrets to an already functional circuit?
Regarding the first question, three turrets and three lights should only be about 33-37 active usage depending on switches. I'm guessing you have a Branch Switch (or multiple) set to a high value. To calculate how much charge you need, it's [active usage ÷ 0.8 = charge requirement]. Or, just make sure a large battery always gets at least 126v if you don't want to calculate.
Watch this video for your second question! ruclips.net/video/WdnqfvckSA8/видео.html
Dude you should put the combiners underneath the solar panels so you don't have to do all that running and then take that power cord from all that down
You could do that. I prefer to place my switches in the tc room to protect them from raids.
Preparing for console
For the door system couldn't you just run power into the close inputs instead of having a whole system?
You could. This video is older than than the recent electrical updates.
New to rust and electricity. Is there a way to make the light automatically turn on with the wind turbines? I'm having such a hard time finding someone who did this with two batteries
Absolutely. Can you be a bit more specific? Do you mean that you'd like your base lights to come on automatically at night?

Can we have a that version of the base build pleeeaaasee? :D
I swear one of these days I'll do a build on my version of this 😆
What's your command for keeping the wire tool to snapping to the connection points from a meter away? Lol
I wish it was a command lol. That's just me being OCD with my runs
@@AustinKlailaGames ah I wasn't sure if you change your object interact radius or something.
@@rw1567 it's hard to explain, but if you angle yourself just right you can really get it to tuck in to corners
Can i find this base layout anywhere ? Thanks
It's a lightly modded version of Evil Wurst's base design, Serenity
Where can I find the base build
It's my adaptation off of Evil Wurst's first version of The Serenity
when gneiss schist pun doesnt ever get mentionet, change name.
Can we get a base build video?
This is a slightly adapted version of the Evil Wurst's base Serenity! The only difference is that my access to the heli garage is from the outside (so no jump up inside the 2nd floor).

alot of redundancy here. There are much better ways of doing this IMO
You're correct, there are many ways of doing this, including some that are more efficient. However, the goal of this video is to give players new to electrical a starting point from which to learn.
@@AustinKlailaGames I love the idea, I support it. Just some painful choices of comps used, just had to say something lol.
@@AustinKlailaGames also, I'd like to show you the real infinite power circuit. There aren't any videos doing it properly currently.
Base design isn’t realistic. Let’s see ya do it in a 600 pop
I appreciate that this wire up was done in game. I thank you fine Sir! 🦾😎👍👍
Thanks! I really want to do more of these.
