Now I'm pretty sure this effect got used on Petrucci's clean guitar parts on Images And Words! Reminds me of it 100% and if this is Behringer/Klark Teknik not only reminding me of it, but making me believe it's the exact same effect, I've gotta get one! :D :O
Either my ears got used to the sound of klark teknik or stereo makes a big difference, but I do approve this sound. It's just way more noticeable and lush. Don't know if I approve it in practical sense, it's still not a practical unit, but the sound is just fine and its price is one second hand pedal after all or cheaper full price pedal. Thanks for this idea, I was wondering why detune in one line and reverb in the other is a thing people do, but now I'm gonna try this on MPX. I also see that you got those mini rack Boss things! Looking forward to seeing them.
Stereo DOES make a massive difference when it comes to chorus. There's no limit to what you can do with a stereo signal. Chorus/detune and reverb separated in parallel helps to keep the dry signal from being over processed but it's the same principle with any two wet effects. The issue here is limiting your effects to one channel, personally I prefer stereo chorus AND stereo reverb, they just need to be dialed in right so you don't lose articulation into a huge modulated cloud. Racks incorporating a line mixer are best posed to route and process wet vs dry for very big sounding guitar, just like they did in the 80s. My favorite is the landau sound splitting the stereo chorus and detuning 1 side, sending both into stereo delay and then routing a reverb. Took a long time to learn and experiment to get it right, but the result, for me, was well worth it. Happy experimenting (1 year later!).
Sounds a bit spiky the upper mids to me Leon? Admittedy, slghtly better with the Lexicon reverb, but not that beautiful lush round sound I associate with the original. $149 stays in my pocket, and really appreciate your video post effort.
Stereo is even better when it's actually stereo
Leon, I simply feel something wonderfull strange when stereo started, loved :)
Now I wanna a gh100l for my vh100r hahahahahaha stereo rocks :)

Sweet. I could listen to that BBD/Lexicon/Eventide combo all day and just dream along with it.
It's been hard to do anything else!
Thanks in Stereo, bro! A definitely #MustHave I just ordered mine. Cheers! :)
Enjoy!
7:43 ... Richie Blackmore ... Rainbow Eyes. Good sounds, Leon. Thanks.
Mono!!! THE HORROR!!!
Next I'll just be using audio from my iPhone 4
You probably don't like Analog mixing consoles since "every single one" of their channels are mono..smh
I would love to hear it as a send, on a bass guitar and on some vocals! Maybe when u have time u cam make a part 3, really apreciate it 👌 best regards
Well done Brother! " Now that's twice
as Lovely!" Thanks for sharing and Be Well All!
Thank you kindly!
Really comes to life when you add the other smutzh on there
This sounds remarkably nice. You're videos are costing me a fortune man! 😂

The mini racks are FUN!

Dying laughing. Cranes against humanity 🤣🤣🤣 That's serious man! 🤣🤣
🤣 all 4 buttons at once sounds huge now LET THERE be FUZZ!
Great.
How would you compare the musicality of this piece vs. say, an MXR stereo chorus pedal?
It's more subtle, like a stereo field enhancer rather than a "wobbly" chorus effect
Is it even legal to test these presets non-chronologically?
Leon is on that thin ice lately
If you don't hear from me for a while you know why
Better run to the diner mate, we might just bring out old Alf on ya!!
@@jupjuck HAHAHAHA. Sweet lord that got me good.
All buttons sounds a bit like an electric mistress!!
Is it just me or with the distortion, does it sound King's X-y ?
I was thinking the same :D

Lush! With gain on it almost has a through-zero flanger quality about it
