My sister (RIP)🙏 would make miracle's on thanksgiving just like this... One of the best hams she ever made, I kid you not, came from a can that she roasted with a can of coke 😮 it's all we had, and it was so delicious... Last year was our first thanksgiving without her 😢 but this brought back many special memories 🙏 thank you so much ❤ God bless.

Food banks are a blessing! They really do help out a lot. Earlier this year my body decided to stop working properly so now I need to be gluten free and dairy free (I was already pescatarian for 10yrs) and even I have options at our local food bank. GF & DF is very expensive for anyone let alone someone like myself on a budget. The rest of my family still eats normal food just on a budget as well. Please reach out to your local food bank if you're having some food insecurity issues.

AS a Brit in the UK i am not totally sure why i'm watching Thanksgiving Dinners using Dollar Store Ingredients but I found it fascinating. Your ability to adapt to the available ingredients was a lesson to us and lets face it, its what our ancestors would have had to have done. Never heard of green bean casserole but it looked good, also mighty impressed with the no cook desert - a winner. Admit have never had instant mashed potato before but believe it has improved a lot over the years and i might well try as reviews seem good. Thank you.
As another Brit from the UK i do find this sort of content fascinating. Imagine doing a christmas dinner from poundland! Instant mashed potato like potato starch is such a useful ingredient! If you make cheese and onion pasta or pasty its really hard with fresh potato so i use instant mash and use less water. And potato starch is what i use to thicken any soup, sauce or curry that when its done its too loose but if i boil off any more water it will be too salty or strong.
You can use the instant mash as breading or as a filler to stretch something like hamburger, or as a thickener as mentioned. One of my favorite “easy” things is tinned chicken or fish, the potato flakes, and a little milk, patty and brown. A bechemel with pepper instead of nutmeg makes a cheap protein.
Honestly instant mashed potatoes are delicious as is. They're real potatoes that have been cooked, mashed and then dehydrated. Add a lil cream cheese or sour cream or milk and butter for extra creaminess and you wouldn't know the difference
That cream cheese brand, has an awesome taste. Also, if you cannot find it, fried onions use croutons at the dollar tree. Thanks Rebecca, for taking the time to demonstrate 20.00 holiday can be done, especially shopping at your local Dollar Tree.😊

This year for thanksgiving I’m baking one Cornish hen, have one can of cranberry, one packet of Idaho potatoes, one box of stuffing and that’s gonna be it. Simple but will be filling.
I live alone being 75 yrs old. My wife passed away 6 yrs ago. Now I'm the cook. But I make my meals out of simple servings. Thanksgiving is just another day to me. My meal will consist of home made sausage gravy, fried potatoes, biscuits.i believe fix what you know that it is pleasing. Happy Holidays to all
A lot of my clients are on a budget and shop at dollar tree every week for groceries. If they say they can’t do Thanksgiving I tell them to watch your videos ❤
I'm so impressed with the variety and generous portions for a meal that feeds 4 for just $20! So glad that anyone who might recreate this gets to walk away with that thanksgiving full belly feeling.
I think 2 cans of canned chicken, a box of stuffing mix and a can of chicken or mushroom soup or gravy or ĝravy mix makes a fine Thanksgiving casserole. My mom fixes that for a quick and easy weekend dinner. With some sides and cranberry sauce it's a fine meal. Creamy corn is a yummy side dish, frozen corn, 4 oz of cream cheese, some butter, splash of milk if needed, a tablespoon of sugar and egg or 2, baked in the oven, it's so good, it's good with some crumbled bacon added. My local Dollar Tree often has big cans of yams, naturally you can use them to make candied yams as a side but I like to use them to make a yam soup with finely chopped onion or a bit of minced onion or onion powder (if I used tge dried minced onion I put some in a small dish with some water and microwave until they're rehydrated), powdered ginger, butter, milk, chicken broth or chicken bullion, and pumpkin pie spice. It's pretty served with pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds) sprinkled on top. It's a good soup starter for Thanksgiving dinner. Another soup idea is chicken corn chowder, bag of frozen corn or 2 cans of corn (cream style or regular) a bag of instant potatoes, a can of chicken, milk (fresh, canned or shelf stable) butter or margarine, pepper and salt to taste. Put a bit of butter in a pot, drain and cook the chicken, when chicken has a bit of color add the corn some water and the bullion, when corn is cooked add water and milk and stir in the instant potatoes. You can add more milk or water to get to the consistency you like your chowder. This looks pretty in the bowl with some parsley sprinkled on top. My sister likes this with dehydrated onions added. You could sprinkle some of those fried onions on top of the chowder, sometimes my sister wants grated cheese on top. If you have turkey left after the holidays you can use some of that to whip up a quick batch of turkey corn chowder using this recipe.
Just discovered this channel while visiting my sister in VA. We quickly binged all of the long form videos. We can’t wait to watch this episode tonight. The crazy thing is my sister lives within walking distance of the DollarTree headquarters.
Oh I super love this! I just ordered some ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner trying to be budget conscious because INFLATION, and times are tough. I was able to get everything we wanted for $68 including ham and turkey, so while my meal is triple plus your budget, I really liked seeing your options and thought process, normally I woulda totally over spent, so I still saved. Happy almost Thanksgiving to you. I am THANKFUL for you, your whit, your tips, and your honesty! XO
Your thought process is spot on. I've had to substitute items when planning a menu due to items not being available. For those lucky enough to be able to shop different DT, it makes a difference. Love your videos and your compassion for your viewers. 😊
I add a twist to the green bean casserole. I always make a big amount cause it’s a favorite. Six cans of French cut green beans, 1 can cream of mushroom, 1 of cream of chicken & 1 cheddar cheese. The cheese makes it so yummy! Mix in some fried onions, the rest on top.
Definitely present three or even four thanksgiving meals from dollar tree. This was a great one for no oven options ❤👍👍👍☕😋😋 One of the options could be a friendsgiving version with appetizer ideas... crescent turkey rolls, air fried Mac and cheese bites.. Etc
I appreciate you doing these Dollar Tree meals for those who really don't have a lot of options!! As a Dollar Tree shopper myself, you have shown me a lot of items I normally overlook! I am going to be a little more diligent in looking closer for these items and try to make some meals myself!
How cool. I am on a limited budget right now and watching your videos not only helps me to save money, but also how to prepare the meals as well. I will definitely be looking for more of your videos soon.
You're absolutely adorable! Love your videos and think you're very sensitive to the people who rely on your videos to stay within their means and still enjoy themselves in a dignified way.
I'm glad i found you recently, my issue is mobility and pain. It looks like we'll be having some weather thanksgiving week which means increased pain. I have always made everything from scratch. Adapting to my new circumstances and with your ideas and some planning, my cabinet is already stocked with items in this video plus a few fresh items in case i can make them. Thank you for your great ideas for different circumstances! Looking forward to the next dinner video! 🤗💕✨
I’m the same w the health issues. It’s hard. Have had to resort to curbside pick up or grocery delivery. I miss going in store. And prepping at home exhausts me. I get Meals On Wheels delivered during the week, so that’s a lifesaver, but not on holidays. Thanksgiving day, a local church makes a community free meal which they will deliver. Blessed! Enjoy yours & take care.😉
you know i love videos like this and it proves that even on a strict budget one can celebrate with friends or family. i was homeless for almost fifteen years and my "campmates and i would come together and do something very similar to this...we would make a 20-40 budget between us and do a camp fire cooking holiday meal and celebrate as friends and family thankful for what we had even though it was not the best of situations it made spirits raise during a bad situation.
I just discovered your videos, and I feel like I've stumbled onto something incredible. Aside from your videos and just your entire demeanor, you have probably the most loving, wholesome comments section on RUclips. I've found the old axiom "Never read the comments" to be largely true, but not under your videos. All I see here is love and support and well wishes and the best humanity has to offer. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air!
“….if that is something you would like to see.” I would like to see anything you care to offer. You are so creative, respectful, and calming. I watch even though I do not have to deal with many of the limitations you work around, and I get some great ideas along the way!
Thank you for taking time to show people how they can feed their families on a strict budget. I am a single mom and am fortunate to have a high enough paying job to feed my children but I have gone through times, and still do, when payday is not close and I am low on money. This can be a lifesaver and help someone feel better that they can make meals for their family when they didn’t think they couldn’t❤
When my mom made Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast, better known as S. on a Shingle, she always rinsed the chipped beef like that before she cooked it. It really helps reduce that intense saltiness, give it a try some time :)
That's how you're supposed to use anchovies too. I'm tired of finally finding a pizza place that offers anchovies, only to pick up a pizza striped with anchovy fillets that are still caked in salt and oil. Egad!
@@merriemisfit8406 My dad loved anchovies on pizza, and the only place he found that did it right was an Italian restaurant in town that was actually staffed by an Italian family. Not from a pizza place.
@@sharimeline3077 Then it looks like I may be out of luck. There is a very renowned Italian restaurant a short walking distance from my house, but they're all into appealing to "foodies" anymore. Small portions, huge prices, no pizza. For instance, a dinner with a beef entree is over 60 bucks, and a simple eggplant and zucchini timbale will run you over 40. The next closest place is about a 15-minute drive, and there a small "Margareta" pizza with anchovies is $15, while a small vegetarian with anchovies is $19.50. Too much for my wallet. Maybe I should quit my current job and go work for a pizza place as their official anchovy wrangler.
This is why I love this channel. Not only are you a fun host. Your ingenuity always gives me fun tips and tricks to try. No strain Mac n cheese Yes Please!!
Ibotta has a deal going on for sides and a turkey. The turkey challenge is too many required receipts for me, but only 4 for the sides, I’m half way there. I’m so blessed this Thanksgiving day! A local church is making a free full meal for pick up or delivery. They are dropping off 2 meals for me. This menu is my favorite meal! Otherwise I’d be adapting your DT items & making my own. Thank you!
Those plates are so wonderfully full! You made that $20 go far, serving generous portions I imagine would be satisfying, even for a special occasion meal like Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing; I know this helped someone.
Best channel I could ever discover. I've moved out recently and I'm doing yt streaming/animation as a part time job while doing other work. You help me stretch my dollars and actually enjoy my budget meals a lot more than I ever could hope for!
I like to stir half of the fried onions into the cream of mushroom soup and green beans. Then I put the rest on the top. And I would put some soy sauce from a packet from Chinese delivery into the soup also; free and makes the difference for me! And I’m like you, Rebecca, stuffing is my first favorite and green bean casserole is my second favorite.
I make my Kraft or Great Value boxed mac and cheese in the microwave in a glass baking dish. A glass loaf pan usually works well because it is smaller. Add in the water and butter and cook uncovered for 10 mins. I do not measure the water. I just add enough to fully cover the pasta with a little extra so that all of the macaroni is submerged completely. When done, take out of the microwave, add milk and cheese then stir until creamy. Serve in the dish that you made it in if you would like.
Last year I was able to visit a former client and her kiddos at the hotel they live in. These recipes remind me of that season. I love that you’re sharing recipes people in any situation can do
My most frequented Dollar Tree has been woefully understocked in the frozen/refrigerated food section for a while now. Thanks for all of your continued inspiration for budget-friendly meals.
Im real impressed. I don't shop there - but can appreciate the art form of making something great from something cheap. That was A LOT of food for 20 bucks and it looked pretty decent.
My husband cooks country ham in water, changing it several times. It helps to rehydrate it and removes a lot of the salt. Crisp it a bit with no water at the end. That pie looks delicious. Thanks for all the good videos.
I grew up with money being really tight and eating a lot of dollar store and food bank food. We always had family over for the holidays so that was less of an issue. But i could absolutely see my mom making something like this for a special dinner. And i would have been happy to have it.
Wow, it looks great. I am watching for Thanksgiving 2024 on a budget. There are a few of these Dollar Tree videos with canned turkey (sketchy), and your meal looks the Very Best. ⭐️Very smart to try the ham. Great Job!!
Hello Rebecca another suggestion for the country ham is when we normally cook it we usually boil it first to remove most of the salt 😊 .. and I just found your channel last week but I love the videos
That meal looks really good Rebecca! I never thought or seen anybody making mac and cheese the way you did, but it looked great so did the chocolate cream pie ! I can't wait to make that ! Looks Yummy ! I think you did a great job on the meal ! Kudos ! Thanks for the tips on the meal and have a great day !
But not everyone has accessibility to those stores, whereas Dollar Trees & Dollar Generals tend to be in the more isolated areas. Sometimes the only store that doesn't require driving considerable distances.
When I get to leftovers the day after thanksgiving I like to mix everything together into a big bowl. I think I enjoy them more than on thanksgiving day.
I once had a Thanksgiving dinner that was nothing but a package of turkey lunchmeat. That me would have been SO happy to eat this with you, and today me thinks you're awesome!
I’d say if you steeped the ham overnight in water it would have gotten rid of the salt. But I think you made a great dinner . I didn’t think it would look nice or taste good based on the ingredients but it looked lovely. Well done and I’m sure some people will be very glad to have options for a good value thanksgiving meal. We don’t have thanksgiving here in Ireland and I’m always glad because must be a lot of money for food over November and December for you guys.
I was suppised to go to a friends house for Christmas Dinner they were having roast beef so wanting some Turkey I purchased a bag of slices at the deli on clearance. Well, I got sick before hand and did not go.to the dinner. Once I felt better I began to hunger for a holiday mea. So, I cooked a large Yam, opened a can of Cranberry Sauce, and heated 2 slices of Turket Breast. I had 1/3 can of Cranberry Sauce, 2 slices of Turkey and 1/4 of the Yam. Yummmy The turkey came out to be 4 slices for $1 91 ! ! Less than $.50 / slice ! The yam was on sale $.37/ pound ! They were large close to a pound and 1/4 was less than $.10. And the cranberry sauce $1.39. A great meal and cheap ! I had 3 more servings at the same low price. If I had wanted to, I could have added Squash, Green Beans, Rolls to make it a complete meal. And still been frugal. Thank you for your videos.
I recommend the Snapps potato skins in the frozen food section. They are $4 but you get a nice number of potatoes in the box. Also the 6 pack of frozen chocolate chip cookies by Mrs Fields are awesome, 10 minutes in the oven and you have a nice treat ( $1.25a pack). Thanks for the video I enjoy watching.
@ireneroy8820 Dollar Tree 🌳 now sells other items above $1.25. Some items in the frozen food area start at $1.25 -$5.00. Named brand ice cream, pizza, and other items. They own Family Dollar and bringing in some of their products in the Dollar Tree 🌳 stores.
@@Enjoywatchingyoutube8227 wow! I knew they went up to $1.25 I seldom shop dollar tree, I shop sales and Loss liters for my groceries, I have 4 main stores within 4 miles from me so, and dollar general is 1/2 mile from me. it’s not extra traveling for me. Like stuff that’s $1.25 I can buy for less than $1 thank You!!
I'm glad to hear the reviews on that gravy. I found it on the clearance shelf of my Kroger affiliate for 0.58 per packet and grabbed it to stretch my gravy from the turkey breast I picked up a couple of weeks ago. I also love the Mac n cheese method! I'm going to do that myself from now on. As for the cheesecake, I'll bet that switching out the pudding mix with pumpkin puree and adding sugar would turn that into a pumpkin cheesecake!
I think your videos are so fantastic. So many families out there who are struggling with really tight budgets, and you’re giving them a ton of creative options.
I love your videos ! I’ve learned not only how to save and budget a little better but also how to jazz up basic meals and make them delicious. So thank you!
I buy those instant potatoes all the time. My hubby loves them with a pkg of brown gravy mix. I just about always can find them for 99c somewhere. I enjoy the country ham slices but they are really salty. I rinsed them a little and dry them off before I cook them to remove some of the salt. They are great as is for a seasoning meat for dishes. Love your budget ideas.
The secret to getting a clean first slice of pie is to cut two slices. Make three “spokes” into the center and then scoop out one of the slices. The third cut creates wiggle room for the crust to stay intact! Please do follow through on making other versions of this and a comparison of them all. I especially love that you didn’t use an oven for this one. Maybe for an even bigger challenge you could use only a microwave and a kettle?
Thanks for this! There is a really really delicious ham relish thst my family makes with country ham. You blend country ham (the weird ends are great), a big sweet apple, and some red pepper relish/jalapeno jelly (whichever you prefer) in the food processor until its a good spreading texture. It's sweet and salty and so delicious. If you search Kings Arms Tavern Ham Relish Recipe, you'll find it. It's from a tavern in historic Williamsburg where we used to go sround Christmas time when I was a lass.
I loooooove your videos. Believe it or not, I’m watching it while I have my dinner right now! It’s so wholesome and so creative. We’ve all struggled someway or another and it’s just so amazing what you can do! Dollar Tree is such a good store for so many things ❤ Also your content is so entertaining 🥰

I was in the hospital this summer with pancreatitis, and when I got home one of the first things I was able to eat was the Idahoan instant potatoes, I love them!
I've probably tried three to six different brands of instant mashed potatoes over the years. Always go back to Idahoan brand Original potatoes in the box. It has the least amount of sodium.
That's a very nice dinner on a budget! Thank you for these great ideas! Times have been a bit rough, and it is great that people can see that options are still available without breaking the bank.
I am from the east coast, and we had never heard of GBC either until I was about 28 years old. I had a friend that cooked a green bean casserole, but with slices of cheese melted on top. Yummy.
I was contemplating not doing a Thanksgiving meal at my house this year. We usually go to my in laws house on the day and I usually cook for my immediate family at home the day after. This is definitely giving me budget friendly ideas to try! Can't wait for your next video to see what else you can whip up!

Thank you for sharing!
Have you ever tried canned cream corn? Sometimes people mix that with bisquick I think
I'm working Thanksgiving night, but will be making a DT Thanksgiving dinner for myself, with leftovers for Friday!! Thank you, Rebecca!
Just discovered this channel while visiting my sister in VA. We quickly binged all of the long form videos. We can’t wait to watch this episode tonight.
The crazy thing is my sister lives within walking distance of the DollarTree headquarters.
nice!
I love that you do this for those who need ideas for a budgeted holiday. Everyone should still celebrate with a nice holiday meal. Cheers!
XO
That is so amazing Laura thank you for sharing I hope you have an amazing thanksgiving dinner!
That’s a good budget and they look so delicious I’ll try the cheesecake chocolate and all the others ! ❤very good amount !
Laura where did you order your dinner from if you don't mind my asking? I'm definitely on a big budget this year. Newly Divorced Mom of 3 Teens🙃
I love mixing my potatoes (any kind) with just about anything. Macaroni, peas, broccoli and cheese, corn LOL you name it and it's all going together.
I Love mashed potatoes and peas!
Your thought process is spot on. I've had to substitute items when planning a menu due to items not being available. For those lucky enough to be able to shop different DT, it makes a difference. Love your videos and your compassion for your viewers. 😊
Thank you so much!
You don't add any milk?
Ooo! That sounds good!
@EeveelutionStormi may try that out sometime!
Definitely present three or even four thanksgiving meals from dollar tree. This was a great one for no oven options ❤👍👍👍☕😋😋 One of the options could be a friendsgiving version with appetizer ideas... crescent turkey rolls, air fried Mac and cheese bites..
Etc
Great idea
I appreciate you doing these Dollar Tree meals for those who really don't have a lot of options!! As a Dollar Tree shopper myself, you have shown me a lot of items I normally overlook! I am going to be a little more diligent in looking closer for these items and try to make some meals myself!
I'm stretching my SNAP benefits to cover our holiday meals, so your videos are very helpful! Thank you for posting. 🦃

Love these videos, I think there can be a lot of snobby chefs online this time of year, and these videos are such an accessible resource. Great job!
Thank you! Even in my own comments there’s a lot of snobby chefs 😂😂
Mazey, I'm hoping you have less pain and good mobility and get to do everything that you want to. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
@@barbwall3678 thank you and you as well! 💕✨🤗
@@sandy-pf9bb thank you! Many blessings of the day to you! 💕✨🤗
Love this community!! I hope you get to enjoy your holiday week with some low pain moments 💝
you know i love videos like this and it proves that even on a strict budget one can celebrate with friends or family. i was homeless for almost fifteen years and my "campmates and i would come together and do something very similar to this...we would make a 20-40 budget between us and do a camp fire cooking holiday meal and celebrate as friends and family thankful for what we had even though it was not the best of situations it made spirits raise during a bad situation.
Thanks for being a breath of fresh air!
thanksgiving is about being THANKFUL 🦃 and i am so thankful for these videos ❤️
“….if that is something you would like to see.”
I would like to see anything you care to offer.
I never knew a no bake dessert was so easy to make! Thank you so much for this video!
When my mom made Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast, better known as S. on a Shingle, she always rinsed the chipped beef like that before she cooked it. It really helps reduce that intense saltiness, give it a try some time :)
lol! S on a shingle. My grandma used to make that we though it was good and funny.
@@merriemisfit8406 prices are crazy these days, who exactly can afford that? No one I know!
This is why I love this channel. Not only are you a fun host. Your ingenuity always gives me fun tips and tricks to try. No strain Mac n cheese Yes Please!!
I'd love to see the comparisons between the different Dollar Trees, and also the ideas you come up with.
Will do!!
Thank you!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving
That’s Awesome! Free meal!
Those plates are so wonderfully full! You made that $20 go far, serving generous portions I imagine would be satisfying, even for a special occasion meal like Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing; I know this helped someone.
I am totally impressed, I would happily eat all of it!! I know I would enjoy the chocolate cheesecake!! Thank you!! Glad I found your channel!!
Hope you enjoy!
My family did a similar pie for a couple Thanksgivings as a kid! Premade crust, chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, and sliced almonds. I loved it!
I love your videos. You are a true public service. 🍂🍁🍃Happy Fall🦃🍃🍁🍂
Happy Fall to you too!
@@DollarTreeDinners Thank you Rebecca, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ! 🦃🤗
Best channel I could ever discover. I've moved out recently and I'm doing yt streaming/animation as a part time job while doing other work. You help me stretch my dollars and actually enjoy my budget meals a lot more than I ever could hope for!
You can actually boil the country ham for a few minutes (after rinsing and before frying it) to remove even more salt!
Use powdered milk to soak up excess water. Works great.
You are such a blessing. Thank you for all you do, especially your lovely altitude.
I love it and I want more Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s DT dinners! Thank you! 🎉
I love all your videos; especially around holidays or special occ..always so helpful to be able to participate without having to spend a bunch!! ❤
Happy holidays!
So interesting what you can accomplish with a few ingredients. I'm enjoying the ideas in the comments section too.
Just come across your channel. Hi from England, you're genuine and caring . Keep up your great content and believe in yourself ❤
I love this lady! She makes me happy! And hungry LOL! Thank you so much for the budget & food prep ideas! And Happy Thanksgiving!😊🌻🦃
I’m with you! Stuffing and green bean casserole are my favorite too! The sides are the best!! And…. Dessert of course. Ty!!
This is amazing! I am on a fixed income and really appreciate all your tips and tricks!
Happy to help!
I've noticed a lot of normal grocery stores have these ingredients much cheaper (during the holidays) than Dollar Tree.
But not everyone has accessibility to those stores, whereas Dollar Trees & Dollar Generals tend to be in the more isolated areas. Sometimes the only store that doesn't require driving considerable distances.
@dianaprobst3157 I agree. If these stores are your only option, than they will in fact be the cheapest.
Thank you for defending the Idahoan mashed potatoes. We love them too.
Everything looks delicious! I'm definitely going to try your mac and cheese method. I also love it when the sides get a little mixed together lol!
When I get to leftovers the day after thanksgiving I like to mix everything together into a big bowl. I think I enjoy them more than on thanksgiving day.
Those plates of food were very attractive and really large servings. I'll bet everything was delicious.
I only make my boxed Mac & cheese this way to but that is because you taught it to me. 😂Love your channel so much!💕
I once had a Thanksgiving dinner that was nothing but a package of turkey lunchmeat. That me would have been SO happy to eat this with you, and today me thinks you're awesome!
I think I would try putting the pie is the freezer for a bit to firm it up some. Everything looks great! Good job.
You are so awesome and thoughtful!
Your videos are very calming and cozy.
I enjoy watching part 1 looking forward to part 2 of Thanksgiving dinner 🍽️😊
Yummmy
The turkey came out to be 4 slices for $1 91 !
Many stores have boxed stuffing & canned cranberry sauce.
Clever and original as ever. Thank you for the ideas.
I don't shop much at dollar tree but still enjoy your videos.
$4 at dollar tree?
@ireneroy8820 Dollar Tree 🌳 now sells other items above $1.25. Some items in the frozen food area start at $1.25 -$5.00. Named brand ice cream, pizza, and other items. They own Family Dollar and bringing in some of their products in the Dollar Tree 🌳 stores.
@@Enjoywatchingyoutube8227 wow! I knew they went up to $1.25
I seldom shop dollar tree, I shop sales and
Loss liters for my groceries, I have 4 main stores within 4 miles from me so, and dollar general is 1/2 mile from me. it’s not extra traveling for me. Like stuff that’s $1.25
I can buy for less than $1
thank You!!
You consistently amaze me with what you do with dollar tree ingredients. Thank you. I'd love to see more!
One tsp of soy sauce in the green bean casserole makes it next level 👍 great job, as always!
I’ve never seen a mirror at the kitchen sink. That’s kinda cool. But curious as to what your reason for doing that was. So unique
I love this channel for real. Wholesome and cheap food. Its like struggle meals but more than 1 dish at a time
I think your videos are so fantastic.
She did a microwave one a couple videos back!
I always love your series! 🧡🧡🧡
You are a miracle worker with food! 😊
I loooooove your videos. Believe it or not, I’m watching it while I have my dinner right now! It’s so wholesome and so creative. We’ve all struggled someway or another and it’s just so amazing what you can do! Dollar Tree is such a good store for so many things ❤ Also your content is so entertaining 🥰
interesting yet very frugal ideas. im a single person that lives alone and your ideas really help me minimize waste. i liked your microwave turkey day video, very insightful.!! glad you have this "niche" channel!!
Soak the ham for 2/3 hrs, or even overnight. It will remove a lot of salt.
Those Idahoan mashed potato packets are great
Fast, easy, and closest to homemade 👍Awh no stuffing? 😩😁
I was in the hospital this summer with pancreatitis, and when I got home one of the first things I was able to eat was the Idahoan instant potatoes, I love them!
I've probably tried three to six different brands of instant mashed potatoes over the years. Always go back to
Idahoan brand Original potatoes in the box. It has the least amount of sodium.
That's a very nice dinner on a budget! Thank you for these great ideas! Times have been a bit rough, and it is great that people can see that options are still available without breaking the bank.
Green bean casseroles are a mid west thing! I didnt grow up with them either, on the west coast, until my stepmom who lived in michigan made it.
I am from the east coast, and we had never heard of GBC either until I was about 28 years old. I had a friend that cooked a green bean casserole, but with slices of cheese melted on top. Yummy.
Born and raised in the southeast and we had it every year.
I was contemplating not doing a Thanksgiving meal at my house this year. We usually go to my in laws house on the day and I usually cook for my immediate family at home the day after. This is definitely giving me budget friendly ideas to try! Can't wait for your next video to see what else you can whip up!
If they have turkey spam, try it it’s good. Love your ideas
I have to comment. I ran across you're channel at random today. And i'm amazed at how you can make meals on a budget. You are honest and creative. Giving viewers on you're channel ideas.
