I use iambic, I use single lever, I use cootie, and bugs. There is no perfect key. They are all fun. It’s a sickness like the pursuit of the perfect antenna. 😂🤣😂🤣 Glad to have you in the club.
My guy! I have a few friends who are HUGE bug guys. I may or may not have placed a low ebay bid on a bug this week but I did get out bid.. well... there's one hour left. but I promise I won't increase my bid..🤣
13:04 Ah yes, the classic "I have my volume turned way up to pull in this weak signal only to get obliterated by the subsequent S9+ station that inevitably follows." Happens every time. What a beautiful lineup of keys. Maybe there's a 15-way 3.5 mm jack that you can hook them all up simultaneously and use a different key for each character. As for the noise issue, I had S9 noise across the entire HF spectrum and had to cut power to the house and turn on a breaker at a time. Ended up being a AC/DC 5v usb adapter for the wall clock in my garage blanking everything out. Tossed it and was back to ~S1. Wasn't even the clock, just the adapter.
LMAO! 😂Yes, I've pretty much accepted when I go in-earbud headphones at my POTA activations that when I pull out that 229 QSB station I have a 1500 Watt PEP on deck ready to end my ear drums once and for all. I've explained to my wife like 100 times that each paddle is uniquely manufactured to transmit radio signals to specific U.S. states and the only way to work all 50 is to have 50 paddles. She still doesn't get it. How much for your consulting services? I would pay someone to just show up at my house and fix my noise issues. I really do need to go breaker by breaker and get to the bottom of it.
I absolutely love the colors. And the detail surrounding a few of your keys. I would have never thought about issues placing keys next to each other but makes sense. Thanks for pointing out all these nuances. I love the deep dive into the specifics about keys. 73 Bill KG4FXG

Yes sir. I added "no adjustments made" during the end of video QSOs to highlight I made back to back QSOs, zero errors, with not a single adjustment out of the box. I have had some horrible first QSO experiences on other brand new keys because I wasn't patient enough to make the needed adjustments ahead of time haha. @@JayN4GO you guys just stole our head coach. (Tbf he’s a Kentucky alum) that’s the Stradivarius. They’re both great keys I’d say they have pretty different feels but in a good way.
@@richsawyer1067 I’m finally going to make a full key video (maybe this weekend) and I plan to make recommendations for people who want to buy their very first “nice key”!
