Hi Jenny! The apartments towards the top are very high up into the side of the hill so I guess it would depend on the age of children. The walls of the balcony are quite high so I don't think there is too much risk but there are plenty of apartments lower down the block, and some which open out right onto the pools. The hotel staff are very accommodating - the second time we went (we've been twice!) we asked for a specific room / side of the blocks for a better view of the sea and they sorted no problem, so you could always ask to see a room in block F and if you don't feel it's safe enough you could move further down. Hope that helps!
