Honestly I don't think it's a matter of being underrated as much as mischaracterized. The pancake song, the frat boy diss, and his appearance on Ellen all give a very limited sampling of his music.
I prefer the 27 Styles video you mentioned. It's like an entertaining history lesson, and I geeked out for some of the impressions in that one more, like Bone Thugs.
I just rewatched this and I have to say, after viewing at least 50 different reactions to 27 styles of rap, I appreciate the fact you knew what he was referring to in most of the styles. A lot of "rap fans" had no clue who half the impressions were of. Kudos and thanks for the vids.
Thank you for reacting to Mac Lethal! I'm SO happy! I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, so Tech N9ne and Mac Lethal are my dudes! Mac is from the Kansas side but our area is super close.
2 thank yous... 1. Thank you for reacting to this! 2. Thank you for recognizing/commenting on the Ghostface lines/style! I've watched so many reactions to this and everyone says "yeah, Wu-tang" but that's it
My girl is from Kansas and used to kick it with Mac and Tech, she used to book their shows back in the day. Good people and watching this with your reaction was dope Fam.
I think today I probably watched 18 of your videos. I got to say I love it man. I love you, I love your lady, and I love your guys reactions. Keep it up.
I like the way you expanded your music horizons and different genres other than rap. I never knew there was different genres of rap so maybe I should also expand my horizons, great post.
I said it before when I first subscribed, but I will say it again you have such a good mix of videos. It's never boring, and I love the chemistry with the Queen👑
For those that dont know, rap style 2 Boom Bap talks about boogie down bronx, he mentions that because the birth of hiphop and b-boy/breakdancing is from the bronx, south bronx to be exact.
Mac Lethal has a few other multiple style songs to check out. If you really enjoy various styles of music, you've gotta check out Ten Second Songs by Anthony Vincent. The best place to start, in my humble opinion, is Rap God in 40 styles.
This has been said before, but man you will LOVE tensecondsongs. This guy’s range is amazing, but Anthony takes it a couple of levels beyond even this. I advice starting with Rap God
I know you've reacted to Rap God before, but since you clearly know your rap, could you please react to the 10 Second Songs version of Rap God? None of the reactions I've seen have been able to identify all the rappers in his version and say if he's doing them well.
I done been drinkin before i clicked this video but i had to tip one back with ya lol im from denver, been livin in kansas since 2011 so like, uncle Mac is one of them dudes - pardon my hipster - i knewwwww was fire years and years before he ever decided to start making these viral videos and actually get his name out there. Like, dude actually came up battle rapping and shit, he got a few super solid albums. You should react to some of his real shit.
some of those styles reminds me of the golden days of Rap / Hip Hop. Del, Naughty by Nature, Lords of the Underground, Wu-Tang, Luniz, Warren G, LL Cool J, N.W.A., Gang Starr, Junior Mafia, Dogg Pound, Man Parrish, Run DMC, Eric B. & Rakim, Silver Bullet, Gunshot, 2Pac, Fat Joe, Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun, Queen Latifah, Blade, Hijack the Terrorist Group, Ice-T, DMX, Ja Rule, Pharoahe Monch, Mob Deep, Nas, Craig Mack, Onyx, GZA, Raekwon, RZA, Method Man, Apache, Das EFX, Double XX Posse, Pete Rock, Big Daddy Kane, Stetsasonic, pitch black, all natural, Stieber Twins, Too Strong, Toni L, Linguist, Ervin Arana, Large Professor, caveman, counter attack, Dope Inc., Hardnoise, Solid n Mind, Kid n Play, Dope on Plastic, Son of Noise, Ultramagnetic MCs, Underground with Style, Articolo 31, Stik Figa, no remorze... Those were the days.
i know better, but I still watched this while eating my lunch. First time seeing this joint from Mac Lethal, had me choking on some of his lines. The Drake line nearly killed me. Fire 100% Fire
Yooooo the old school rap, boom bap, G-Funk👌🏽, Bay Area/Mobb music omg I’m 😆😂🤣👏🏽 Hyphy and Crunk I was dying!🤣 Then when he did Eminem I legit almost died! The U.K. Grime was good. The Mumble Rap got me laughing so flippin hard cuz that crap is all they play on the radio now omg I’m crying laughing I can’t breathe. The Miami one👍🏽 Westcoast underground was dope!
Mac is so underrated. I like Quadeca, but this was next level.

Honestly I don't think it's a matter of being underrated as much as mischaracterized. The pancake song, the frat boy diss, and his appearance on Ellen all give a very limited sampling of his music.
Mac Lethal is how I discovered Boom Bap, and I'm forever grateful.
Boom bap next. It's on the low-key next.

also the Mumble Rap was spot on LOLOLOLOL
So was the drake and pitbull bs lmao
Those Em lyrics were spot on bro lol
He has another one of these that is fire! The History of America told in 14(?) rap styles. React to that and his ’Alphabet Insanity’ :)
Alphabet insanity is straight crazy.
Definitely Alphabet Insanity, love it
I prefer the 27 Styles video you mentioned. It's like an entertaining history lesson, and I geeked out for some of the impressions in that one more, like Bone Thugs.
But the us history is 100% false
Preston Gower Get Out Fatty
You can tell which styles he really likes. He takes them super seriously. While what he doesn't like, his lyrics are jokes.
agreed
I just rewatched this and I have to say, after viewing at least 50 different reactions to 27 styles of rap, I appreciate the fact you knew what he was referring to in most of the styles. A lot of "rap fans" had no clue who half the impressions were of. Kudos and thanks for the vids.

2. Thank you for recognizing/commenting on the Ghostface lines/style! I've watched so many reactions to this and everyone says "yeah, Wu-tang" but that's it
