I think everybody should take time for their mental health at least once a week. It's hard to stay motivated when there's so much stress everywhere coming from every angle all at once. Everybody needs an escape to reboot themselves and mental health days are perfect for that.

Try taking cold showers. I fell into depression a few months back and went to a therapist and was suggested that I take cold showers at least 4 times a week, and it felt so great, especially if you take the shower in the morning before you get your day started. It gets you fully pumped up and makes you actually want to get off your ass and get something done, lol. Please try this out it's amazing.
I’ve watched a lot of self improvement videos and I think the point of that meditation is thst it helps you focus on the present like bringing your focus back to your breathing without your mind wandering and also helps with like awareness and other stuff idk.
I like how personal this video was. If you feel burned out and like you have to take a break from YT for a while, do whatever you think works best. It's good to have self care days like you did in this video, it's important to be happy in real life and not just on social media. Keep up the good work Mason!! You're awesome! P.S. Anything I haven't used and thrown away doubles of something except clothes socks, etc. I thrown away keyboard and mouse ready for the one I am using now the Keychron K2 and MX Anywhere 3. I am now trying minimalism. my grades have gown up the day I left school for a new term. Having a clean minimalistic space is very important to me. Thank you for your videos.

Went on a buddhist retreat for a week and meditated for 5 hours a day and took a couple classes on it and was part of my school's meditation society so if you ever have any questions feel free to ask! I don't do it as often as I used to anymore but I miss it a lot and definitely helps if you can make a routine of it!

@@masoncargile I would say defintely worth having it in your routine! In terms of length of time it all depends on the person and your goal with meditation. Obviously most people arent looking to achieve "enlightenment" and be a buddhist monk so that much time isnt necessary but I would say anywhere between 5 mins to an hour a day can be beneficial depending on your needs and what you want for it. I personally feel the 15-30 min mark for me would be a good goal. It's mostly all about being present and appreciating the current moment. If you feel like you're wasting time that you could be spending on other stuff then don't meditate that long, go for whatever feels useful to you! :)

im an evening shower person, but holy shit the first time i tried cold showers was magical, definitely in my top 3 of the best experiences
