There's lyrics saying "But why is the ice so cold?" The pronunciation of ICE sounds like "adult" in Korean. The fact that Chanhyuk composed this song at the age of 18 is quit shocking. He said that he could no longer compose music like that. If he were to write it now, he would be lying because he is already an adult. There were "something" that he could only feel at that time.True artist.👏👏👏
The song "Nakka" is from their collaboration album 'Next Episode', that's a very special album cause each song has its own MV, and one of my fav is "Hey kid, close your eyes", I highly recommend this song and if you have time, try to listen to that album, it's worth, for sure ❤️
Yeah! My fav AKMU songs! I especially love Nakka. I also wonder if in Nakka falling on one side of the earth is equal to a jump on the other side (you grow from mistakes). Chan-hyuk falls down through holes in the ground, but there are scenes where he re-enters from the ceiling. Might also just be entering a lower level. I don't know. It's just a thought I had. For further AKMU content I recommend their episode on Knowing Bros with Somi.
In the Re-Bye video, I've always thought that they were detectives brought in to investigate accidents happening around the lead performer, but a lot of interpretations can work. In Nakka, I think that the overarching meaning is to not be afraid to take that leap of faith and that they have each others back, which goes along with what you were saying about not worrying about the haters or failing. Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and jump. What's interesting about Akmu is that, when you watch their videos in order, you really see an evolution of their style and focus. The meanings behind a lot of their early stuff - when they were still quite young - was pretty light, but as they progressed, it became much more serious. Another interesting thing about them is that they seem to have so many Western dancers in their videos compared to other Kpop artists, yet they have way less English in their songs than other YG groups. Also, their videos are - for YG - pretty low budget, but they are always clever and entertaining and illustrate the song very well. Keep going, and, if you're not already, you'll become a die-hard fan of Akmu. Since you ignored my previous suggestions - 😉- I'll re-suggest "How People Move" (need a sub video for that one as well), and either "The Happening" or "Hey Kid Close Your Eyes". Thanks.
The tracks in the collaboration album which Nakka is from all have MVs. I think it's my most favorite AKMU album, but Sailing and Play are close seconds. Hope you can check them out more!
About nakka, chanhyuk said that even when you’re falling down in one side of the earth it still looks like you’re raising up in the other side of earth
"Melted" too pls, MV and Live version on Unplugged cause it's a diffrent expirience when they sing it with the live band , so much more intense and emotional. You wont regret.
AKMU discography is top tier, so many gems. One of my favorite albums of all time is their Sailing album. Would love for you to react to Fry's dream lyrics video which is released alongside Love Lee (It is also originally performed by IU 9 years ago). Also Happening mv which is so underrated. Their older stuff like give love and 200% are classics and must watch.
The potential victim in Re-Bye is the singer/model/actress Lee Sung-Kyung whose been in a dozen series and four films. She's also been in eleven music videos.
Would love to see ur reaction to their song "Melted"
That song, MV and lyrics is a masterpiece.
I cried when I watched it for the first time T^T
Same👌

Th kids in the mv are from "hey kid close your eyes" song
In a world turned upside down, “falling” is “fly .”
I wonder how popular AKMU would get if their Next Episode album were promoted in western market?
If I would recommend you AKMU songs, I love Melted because is sooo beautiful and sad, and play ugly because it's fun.
Re-Bye = Alibi
Please react to their full album 'Next Episode'! each song has its own video. My recommendation for you is 'Everest', my favorite from that album 😁

The cover to the Harry Stiles album 'Harry's House' looks suspiciously like a still of the (earlier) upside-down room in the MV Nakka.
낙하는 영화 "그레이트 쇼맨"
"From now me"에서 영감
바닥에 떨어져도 널 지킨다
라는 의미
💚💚
rebye 7 years agoo???? God im old😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The entire YG family is incredible and unbeatable
next song of akmu
actually correct pronunciation of 낙하 is “Nak-Ha” i think. 낙 = nak , 하 = ha.
❤❤❤
