Wow.... What a night this was..., I remember stumbling into the techno tent at 8am just when Sven started, the whole place turned blue with the lasers..... Amazing finish to the night, Sven played an hour set that changed my life I'm sure.... Good times!
One of those moments where I ended up alone but just didn’t care, lost in the moment! Good job it took me 3hrs to get out the car park as I was driving 😱🤔🕺🏻🙈❤️🤞
One of the best ego moments in techno! Sven vath at 7am in the techno tent. He just stood at the front of the decks, top off in bright green motorbike trousers reaching for the sky spliff in hand....quality!!
Top notch every sigle set that I have heard from TG has been first class. Wish I could have been there it was dance musics woodstock. What a line up so many legends just starting out on there journey! Love from edinburgh
The first tribal gathering was very special and in a way marked the beginning of a new era.....whereas before everything had been under one roof , it became this tent and that tent....a shame I thought, but I guess things change.....love eternal people
I remember when all the sound systems played at the same time! At that point after a hard nights raving I was feeling a bit confused and it took me a little while to work out what was going on!
Universe put some great raves on, better than fantazia IMO. Although the big bang from fantazia was off the charts but universe, fantazia and Galactica at York were the 3 best events I went to. That Joey beltram set from Galactica is one of the best and thanks to RUclips I can hear it whenever I want
1. Can anyone ID the wicked tune starting around 7:00 ? Thanks :) 2. I have been lucky enough to see this fella DJ live, five times. At this very night (Tribal Gathering), the Zap Club, Brighton, twice (late '93/early '94), Disco 2000, at the Limelight, NYC, summer 1995, and the last ever rave at Melbourne Docks (New Year's Eve, 2001). Great memories!

Ben Tillotson it was 93 firstime they had decks at the front he was on with aphex twin the orbit was his first uk appearance in april93 and it was my firstime at the orbit

Jinx Bowman don't think there was any film of this set ? What a night it was at this universe party, crazy atmosphere foggy muddy conditions, I spun out lost all my friends and went back to my car before this set . One of my friends stayed in this tent all night and said people were running out during the final set Sven Vath played as it was so heavy and don't think the British crowd heard this style of underground music before and couldn't handle it .
Oh yes we could Sven played Orbit in morley countless times at the time it was his favourite club, I was lucky enough to be at his birthday party in 94 best night out ever :)
Yeah, they put out a 1 hour documentary on VHS. I remember seeing it. It was really good, although I was at the event itself as well and that was even better!
