@@danielgaxiolalugo7414 bro, the one more pure white is the male, because they need search for food and looks more disguise in snow, and another point in owls the female are little bit bigger, you can see that the mother looks bigger than dad
Eggs don't hatch at the same time, and the amount of growth within the first 30 days is astronomical. So it's common for some siblings to be larger and older than the others. Owls are very diligent parents and most babies survive given they are birds of prey with limited if not any natural predators.
In this case it would be a male and a female owl from there colours. Females have more spots and males have way less, and the one who was bringing the mice I think has to few spots to be a female. Just in case you were wondering. But you do bring up a valuable point, two gay snowy owls bring up chicks together would be adorable, thanks for the idea.
That is what all owl species do, the female stays in the nest to feed and protect the offspring, the male does the hunting. That is how the species has survived, the same was true for the human species in the west, until the the feminazis took over, and the species has been on a steady decline, except in the middle east and African nations. Hey let's try to fix something that wasn't broken for thousands of years.
cybertec69 The father was trying to attract the invader away but failed. But it's 2019, let's think the white one is a mother who loves females and the spotted one is a father who loves males.😜
I'm sure he knows that's the mother. Like I'm sure you should know that while Mom is watching the little ones Dad was bringing home the bacon 😁 the food in his mouth and the food she is trying to feed the little ones with, probably both were caught by the Father...
Isaac is right. Male feathers grow lighter as the owl matures, and adult male snowy owls may be completely white. Females remain distinctly barred over their entire bodies, and have as many as six darker bands on their tails. Males may have up to three tail bands.
Yeah, what’s funny is Hedwig is played by a male snowy owl since males are smaller than females and easier for an 11-year-old boy (at the time of the first movie) to handle.
Dad: Mom, here, a mouse. Mom: Dad: Mom, I got a mouse home. Mom: Dad: Mom, look at this beautiful mouse I caught. Mom: Just drop it goddammit, Dad. Dad: *looks at camera* That's your fault.

These birds have some of the prettiest markings and features of any bird. They are real beauties. The tender is looking deliberately larger than it is. Could be to deter any aggression by any would be attacker.

Although in times of famine when food is scarce then mum and dad will favour the eldest chick and ignore the youngest chick. The elder chick will also bully his/her little brothers and take most of the food. However if food is abundant then all the chicks will most likely survive.

I work with a snowy owl called “Sofie” she is the sister of one of the birds that played Hedwig in Harry Potter. Sadly her previous owner kept her in a very small cage and she bashed up her wings. She has not yet molted the feathers on her wings, cannot fly and she is a very nervous bird (snowy owls are nervous by nature and she’s even worse). She is, however, a lovely bird who has now got a good home with us. We are hoping she will one day be able to fly again.

I love that so many male birds will feed the female when she’s on the nest. So cute

What? Their's only one pair of male and female birds in a bird family.
That's the males job to supply the female with prey so she can feed herself and the babies.
