Guys, you're also forgetting that this is a multi-monster quest. Even with buffed health, having four hunters was going to make it take half the time of a solo quest, and this is on top of multi-monster quests having monsters with reduced hitpoints and increased attack, making them die even faster, but do even more damage.
Oh, and someone's using the Kelbi Bow, if I'm not mistaken - one of the most grossly overpowered Blast bows in the game once awakened. It practically outperforms every single other weapon type and element. That'd probably contribute to the short times, too.

It's crazy how the graphical difference between the 3DS and Wii U version is for the actual terrain and landscape. Awesome HD. Still looks great on the 3DS out of most of the games I've played. Looks even better after playing older Monster Hunter games for so long, now they look so blocky to me.

don't worry about it, I started with tri because my friend told me about monster hunter and told me that this was the best MH game for me to start with seeing as how we both had wii's and would be to play together online when Igot better at it.
For those of who are able to, you can emulate Monster Hunter 3 Tri at 1080p via the Dolphin emulator. And even if u don't want to play it ont he pc... just seeing MH3 in TRUE 1080p will make your mouth water as to how awesome this game looks :O youtube 1080p doesn't to it justice imo

in my Patch was Jinouga, i kinda liked the Jinouga name, but zinogre either way is good too, also on the MH wiki before the MH3U Zinogre was also written as Jinouga, so i thought it was like that anyways ^^

That's why they work hard to make each game a realm of it's own. They don't want you to have to buy new consoles- but they do want the games available for everyone.
Please bring back Lao and Fata, I miss gunning them. Actually what I miss is the community from the original MH, where hunters helped each other and it was always fun, unlike Tri where people were too ignorant to help the rookies for the most part. And I'm not a bandwagon MH fan from the psp ports or TrI, I'm a PS2 MH Veteran and I cant wait for this to be here.
actually sony decided to drop monster hunter because of low sells, and thats when nintendo saw potential in monster hunter and supported it and thats why its 3ds and wiiU only.

Really I could have sworn that the PsP was the largest selling device in Japan especially in 2009 or around the time that they released MH Freedom Unite. I mean they made three or four special MOnster Hunter Designed PsP's one being something like around 600 $ and dubbed the MH PsP. Anyway personally for me I hope they still make MH for the PsP cause that is kind of where the game began to become famous since I believe it started on the Ps2.

They're actually making an LAN adapter workaround for the Wii U that allows the 3DS to play online, but it's completely useless and defeats the purpose since it has to be plugged into the Wii U anyway. =(
its better to get slightly charged gs hits in than getting fully charging your gs and get no hits. i only charge gs when hes ko'd to cut off tails or break heads but in main fight i do the infinite combo

Well figures i found from dec 2012 show ps3 - 8,71 PS vita - 1,07 sales and 3DS - 8,79 million. From then on the 3DS was already selling weekly about 5-8 times more than ps3+ps vita combined. So it's safe to say and what i actually ment is that the 3DS outsold PS3 + PS Vita combined.
personally it is a good choice in my opinion i will be getting a Wii U when this game launches and the one game will make it well worth it. If there are enough sales and it is popular enough here in america there is a port of MHF (Monster Hunter Frontier) for those of you not in the know. for the Xbox 360 that is a MH MMO but Capcom needs to know that the game is popular enough in the US and Europe to justify the cost too translate and open servers on Xbox live and be profitable.
Well it's mainly because of the 3DS which sold insanely good in japan, it outsold all of sony's devices combined. And the Wii-u will probably sell alot more when games like monster hunter, new pikmin, new zelda, bayonetta 2 come out. By the time the PS4 is launched, the wii-u will have loads of good games so to me it would seem like the PS4 won't sell well, just like the PS vita failure... but then again thats just what i think :P

If you're talking about the monsters, if you're lucky it will be one at the time, but sometimes others plan to join the party.

Monster Hunter is just so epic when played with other people. Buddies and I are enjoying Freedom Unite to this day.

Nope, you can solo, although it would take a LOT more time, and you would use a lot of items.
I got a ps vita hoping it would move from psp to psv. Only after a got it did I realize they moved to the 3ds, and now I can't afford the 3ds.
