I still vividly remember my parents dropping briefly me and my elder brother at his best friend home, Jaffer Ali Zaidi who himself is a great musician and son of Nayyara Noor who is one of the finest female singer of this subcontinent. I was may be around 10 years old at that time and as it was dinner time Nayyara Aunty and Shehryar Unlce (Jaffers father) asked us to join them. I heard this song first time from Nayyar aunty singling in a low voice while cleaning the table and it was so so beautiful to listen this song in her voice. For days I use to sing Kash song mainly line in my terrible voice to an extent my mother said to stop as I can sing like Nayyara aunty. Few days later my brother got Kash album and we used to listen this song on tape recorder. There are some memories are truly priceless !

'95 born here. 90s was the golden decade of Indian Music Industry. We had songs from all the genres. Big Indian Music Companies came into prominence during this period. I really wish that the industry still existed. The wanna be rappers have ruined everything. "KK" and some what Arjit Singh are the only ones along Zubin Nautiyal and Mohit Chauhan of the present generation singers, who come close to the these legendary singers. Life was very simple back then so there was demand for such melodic compositions as people could spend days listening to these songs without TV etc. Coke studio is the only thing that comes to mind when you speak of a domain to hear similar songs. Check out Pakistani Coke Studio songs like Bewajah, Ishq ( Ali Sethi), Wo Humsafar ( Balouch ); at least they have preserved the essence of hindustani and some what classical music.
