With a Paineel Necro if you want you can get faction lock potions in the marketplace so you can keep faction set with the guard. Once the Loyalty Vendor is up in PoK you can get a potion that will fix faction problems too. I think that there's one for every guard faction
Erudite is the clear winner stat wise no debate and if going for the guard farm to make money then yes, but depends on how many plan on doing that for every TLP. If to many people try that I reckon there wouldn't be enough guards to actually use that strat. Chances are Hill Giants/Cyclops will be the preferred spots for farming money anyway on a classic TLP. Darkelf however has the better starting area on a TLP. Ultravision + hide to sometimes break charms when grouping in Unrest/LGuk is pretty great, plus Darkelf's just look better as Necros in general. For Oakwynd TLP I'm tempted to try a Human Necro starting in Freeport since the Darkelf Mask is available, plus necro's with the lich line don't really need huge mana pools and extra HP is also good, since you almost never sit at full mana.
You use hide to break charm which is why it is valuable for DE and also for long AFK stretches because I believe you are hidden from both undead and alive. Also, it is easy to max INT to the soft cap of 200 with raid gear if you plan on raiding with a guild so the next important stat for a necro would be STA. We all know though that if you don't spend the money for a race change potion you will never be min/max as Iksar is miles ahead of other races for the innate regen alone.
Yeah, when I made my Erudite, it was kinda annoying to get through Qeynod. Had to jump off the dock very quickly to avoid the guard that walks on it occationally, and then swim into the sewers.. When I finally got Bind, I tied myself to the Bloodsabre camp down in the sewers. Blackburrow will always be my favourite levelling area between 3 and 13, so being bound so close was nice.
With Erudites, you need to put 5 points into Agility or you will have slower walk speed. You could take that out of Stamina leaving you at 70, or the Intelligence pool leaving you at 137. At that point it isn’t a huge difference with the Dark Elf.
You're right. I would take the points out of stamina. The gnome, DE, and Erudite are all so close in the end, but living under a money tree in paineel is nice :)
A friend of mine made a DE Necro he was KOS everywhere except the POK... I was farming spider silks went to the bank in Nerrak and got killed by the banker... I didn't know he farmed the gaurds the swords sell for 4 or 5 plat... Oops lol Enjoyed the video
You can get the same vision as a gnome by getting a shrink item, so after that it becomes a nonissue. The wand of imperceptibility is solo obtainable, and will suit most players needs. It is however gated behind Luclin which won't be available till Feb 2021.
The Gnome, DE, and Erudite are all good choices and it was tough to decide on which was the best. I think most players will go with the DE necro due to the starting location. I felt all three of the final races were about even and wanted to make it a tie for first, but then decided to go with the stats of the erudite since necros can solo pretty much anywhere and the start city is not very important.
This playlist has more so make sure to check it out. There are some good moneymaker mobs and quests in there for when you level up. ruclips.net/p/PLASO4nzsri0lt2qF2TyTRtvmgHtGfibaB
@@doctornachoz8099 I have a soft spot in my heart for PoP. Server is locked in PoP. It's a private server that started after EQmac Al'Kabor was laid to rest. My favorite part is it's got the best of both worlds...lots of content and still feels like original EQ. Also boxing is allowed, and so far limited on bugs (that I know of. I could go on and on hahaha
The main gathering point is generally in Greater faydark or the commonlands tunnel. The commonlands tunnel has the most trading and business, so it attracts the most people.
Far too much emphasis on starter stats. They matter very very very little. Especially at endgame. Everyone with half decent gear has overcapped their main stat anyway.

BEST TIP!!!! PINNED!

Always informative and entertaining videos!
I appreciate that!

I'm not sure if it still works on live, but I play on p99 and you can hide while FD to clear agro, and it is a huge advantage.

Erudites are the best casters!
I can’t wait for the bard tlp guide !! Great vids!!!

Hey, CM, could you please do a video about the best newbie quests to do for each race? Would be incredibly helpful for everyone.
I'll see if I have time. :)
Love your vids! Cant wait to do my human necro, will def use your tlp items farm quest vids as well when server goes live!
Glad you like them!

Oooo alright! Necro let's go! Thinking about making one.
I'm partial to Gnomes..... but that mana pool on the Erudite, on a TLP server with no gear, is a big deal.
It really is! The first casters to level 50 are usually still wearing cloth all the way up to 50.
I got lost and neriak one time for like an hour and a half what made a iksar necro never looked back lol
I cant imagine rolling a necro that isn't a DE. I do think and Erudite SK is an interesting match. Definitely not the strongest but cool and unique.

Funny you say that, because I couldn't imagine rolling a necro that isn't an Iksar. :)
I'm camp iksar necro as well. I like the Erudite but I made my Erudite a Magician instead.
Hey I cannot find your tutorial you mentioned in this about killing the guards
Here is one of them for the Paineel guards. ruclips.net/video/EGSO-u7P-PY/видео.html

Thank you so much. Been watching for awhile now, keep on keeping on. Also, have you ever played on TAK Project? That's where I am
I haven't played on it. Is it fun and what parts do you like about it the most?
