Magda Arnold's Appraisal Theory of Emotions

An overview of Magda Arnold's (1903-2002) perspective on emotions. Arnold explained the cognitive elements of emotions inspired by the Aristotelian and Thomistic texts. She is the forerunner of the appraisal theory in contemporary psychology.
