Update - it was a bug. I had done my first run collecting everything, which unlocked Mary mode - where you play as a ghost with no timer. I went through again in Mary mode and collected all of the coins, which in turn let me collect all of the hearts. Achievements achieved
1:57 I can’t open the chest. I’ve don’t this 10 times and it still hasn’t opened. I’m going insane! Edit: I have to pour water on it from the watering can.
Thank you for this but sadly I'm 1 coin short from being able to buy the heart from under the sneaker hut!😢 Edit: I missed the coin where you kill the leaf guys 4x so now I was able to get it😊👍🏻
Mild Spoilers* After getting the Mega Sword I was unable to break the box in the mines. Or I could just be improperly informed and there's a trick to breaking the box.
Major Clay: Yeah you have to get the "Grinder" Item first. It's in the room where you push the boxes into the machine. Instead of pushing them into the machine make a box path in the water to a box thats on the right side of that room then push that box into the machine to get the item that allows you to break boxes.
At 6:10 to the right there is a pipe that leads to a pipe maze. Nobody seems to have done a video on it and I can't seem to find the exit to it. Can you make a video on it?
You have to talk with the old dude at the lighthouse. He will tell you (very slowly) the way to the island. When you follow exactly the way he told you, the shark won't attack you.

Hi, yeah maybe it's a bit confusing because I speed up the video at the scenes. To open this door is a weird thing: You must start a run from every "save house", running to the temple room and die. Start one run from your house (with the dog), run to the temple room and die. Next one, from maybe the hotel & do the same, run to the temple room and die etc. till the door is open. Plus you can use the teleporter for switching between the places.

I'm definitely one coin short and have rechecked all locations. Is anyone else experiencing a bug like this?

you need upgraded sword. near the end of game you will get one
