I like that method of putting the outlets in a box at the base of the wall ! Up north, a "stoop" is a set of stairs in front of your front door. The covering over a door, we call an "overhang".
$1600 a month! lucky her i only get $805 a month for my disability check. no one would ever bring down payments to where i could afford them. i love watching your utube vids, i been watching since you first came up with the idea for the forest community, but makes me depressed at times too. i still watch though, im a sucker for punishment i guess but i do love what your doing.
The disability is per what you made while you worked over a course of several years. that's why some people get paid more and some people get paid less. One job that I had just from 6 years of working there, I made a half a million dollars. So when I drew my disability from that one job, I get more than most people do.

It would have been for the homeless people that are trying to have a better life (no drugs or alcoholics). Community garden…I believe that some of these people need a hand up. I’ve always wanted to help the veterans. They get such horrible treatment from the government (shame on govt.) God has a place in heaven for y’all. You give dignity back to a lot of people that are older and deserve so much better than what destiny has dealt them. You guys have very loyal fans because of your love for humanity and the fact that as a business owner Randy is such a humble guy that is not out to gouge people and is not greedy. That is so rare. Your banter is so much fun. You are both very very much loved for so many reasons.

Do panorama smooth. Do steady. That's the main reason I can't watch this very often.

So sorry I've been missing the live shows. I'm working tons of overtime trying to save money to transport my tiny's to Texas. Was off a couple of months and went through the money I had put aside for transporting my homes to Texas.. 😬😫🏡🏡they look amazing!! I'm sooo ready to be in my homes!! Can’t believe I haven’t seen your video earlier!! Pheniox looks like he really found a spot!! I have several cats so, I’ve taken that into consideration! 😂 The Beetle Kill Pine… I can tell you about! I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains on the California side near Susanville. The Beetles that infested the pine trees several years ago were an issue according to the Forestry Service. They literally burrowed into the trees eating the bark of the tree. The tree would respond with a form of it’s sap to fill in the paths and holes so, you could identify an infested tree. Plenty of water would make a difference because the tree could really sap up the beetle’s work… the earlier the better to end the beetle’s life too. The grey in the wood is what you see from this process. With the draught, many trees had a very difficult time fighting the infestation. Anyways… now you know! The wood from this situation has helped the lumber companies as it’s very desirable. I have several trees that lived through it but, have all the signs of the beetle kill result of grey in the pine wood. Believe me… I’ve thought about it being foremost in my Tiny House build one day! Great house! Congratulations on your wonderful result! 😁
I'd love to live there. When I buy mine it'll come to our home with my oldest son. We already have an Rv wire set up side slab in our driveway. Where we are allowed to legally have it. Gonna work perfectly.
I know that this is an old video, but are utilities really cheap in Tennessee? I know that everything has gone up in 2022, but even 2 years ago, my utilities in Massachusetts were nowhere near $50! I have propane heating and it uses some electricity just like a gas stove does when it's in operation. Don't even get me started on how much the propane will cost this year! Lol The thermostat will be turned down low this winter! My electricity is at least $150 when I'm not running a furnace or ac. Running my ac can add $100, but I have a giant window ac that does all of my $800 square feet home. That was last year. Last week it was 95, so I finally put my ac in. We'll see with inflation how much my next electric bill is. None of this includes cable (which I don't have), internet, phones, and streaming services. I would love to pay $200/$300 for a lot rent and $50-$100 for utilities!

That is not a large no. Of places. The only one I know of is Vancouver Island where I would love to be close to my son. I only discovered one that is close to water and is expense much like a resort. There are not many places they approve them in our country. Our idea of tiny homes is the small homes that people pick for all year homes to cut down on our monthly bills and and decreasing our carbon footprint. I'm sure they wouldn't approve of off grid. That's ok with me I don't want it anyway. The places they feel are tiny homes are basically small shed like places for the homeless. It's not permanent but to help them get back on their feet. I don't know what happens to them if they don't get a living wage.

Why not recycle, donate that scrap wood or give it away to people who can burn it in wood stoves or firepits? You could even sell it for cheap like a dollar store, give it away to arts and craft or post it on Craig's List. Humans, we are extremely wasteful.
Humans, maybe, but not nature... Wood is never wasted as no matter what it'll all eventually get recycled by nature back into the soil from which it came. Besides, this is not a company that wastes much of anything. They use reclaimed wood, they do things like having built their factory trusses from scrap wood, they use just about anything usable in their builds, and during winter they use multiple wood stoves to keep warm... What's left isn't really useful for much of anything and some woods you don't want recycled just any old way if they were chemically treated or have other toxic elements bonded to them... At some point you'll start wasting more time, energy, and resources trying to recycle than what you gain in return... Limits to everything and always trade offs... There's always a point that you start doing more harm than good and have to deal with the reality of diminishing returns...

It can be a percentage of what you were making when you left your job. It stayed that way with no increase though

The house I grew up in was built in the late 1800s. Had pocket dies, built in China cabinets, really nice in its day. Kitchen had bead board cabinets.
