I just sold a candy-green Clapton Strat before moving here. One of the 70-some guitars my dad left me. It found a good home. I’m too punk-rock for a strat. Those are for *good* players. Like EC & my dad. ☮️
I was like 9 rows back you were rocking out lol. Me and my Dad got stuck with some crazy drunk lady who kept screaming the whole time😂. Still a good concert tho and a bucket list moment for sure

I relate so much to many of his songs Holy Mother , My Father's eyes and I think the 2004 Crossroads Guitar Fesival I Shot the Sherriff is one of his greatest solos ever. I listen to these everyday. The first 3 to keep me real then I get to 🎸
Took my daughter to the Pilgrim Tour in San Jose Ca & he did this tune. Very moving song! The little girl was blown away by the entire concert. Still have the T-shirt 😎

It is very powerful man. We saw it at the Chicago show. The weight of this song alone was worth the price of admission. Get to MSG!!!

I managed to record it at the RAH in May I’ve seen Eric every year for over 12 years and first time it was played and pilgrim 💙🔥 both beautiful songs

Clapton is still the best, especially in songs like these where he throws his heart out in every riff. This is his forte
