      I’ve just come back to this video. Recently got my first real drum kit in well over a decade and now the challenge is how to make it sound good despite my playing!

    Why do you line up the welds and seams???? Very curious!!!!

      The theory is that if you line up all the non resonant parts of the drum the rest can resonate together….. the joins, joints and welds shop the vibration of the drum.

      The batter head is a Sonor Clear Power (Made by Remo for Sonor) looks like a Powerstroke 3. And the Front is a ported Sonor Clear Power by Remo (again a PS3 ported head). These are the heads the kit shipped with. Hope this helps.
