If you want to be blown out of your socks by Scott's talent, react to their performance on The Sing-Off of Marvin Gaye's song, "Let's Get it On." He will absolutely astound you.
Your boy band comment... One of the judges for The Sing Off (the origin of PTX) was Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men. He is widely acknowledged as the first Pentaholic. You must check out the PTX performances from The Sing Off, both to see how incredible they were from the first performance as a group, and to appreciate how much they have grown.
I love it, when Mitch sings your jaw drops, when Kirstin sings, your eyes rolled back in your head. I was crying laughing. You have to check out their Come Along and Can you feel the love tonight. Can't wait to see the look on your face at those 2 videos
This is the honestly the funniest reaction I've seen to this medley.😂 I think I actually like the reaction without the video. I've seen the original video so many times I can picture it in my head and it makes it a lot easier for me to focus on your reaction, instead of getting distracted by ptx. And I 100% agree with you about Scott.
Yes, but he still has not reacted to the original Mitch slap. Which has to wait until he reacts to the very beginning. Then we all pitch in for his funeral, and extra flowers to his widow, cause let's face it, baby PTX is deadly. He's been reacting to the now PTX. He might not survive the beginning. And the original Mitch slap is epic. Avi almost didn't survive. Avi. Nuf said
@@r.d.stratford106 both. The original Mitch slap is from dog days, but Aha! Singapore star Vista is the ultimate Mitch slap. Gotta love jet lag and Red Bull x2. Plus, Avi did damage to the speakers. I think that's around the time PTX started bringing their own speakers, thanks to Avi. Tim Foust from Home Free has also blown speakers, but I haven't heard if HF brings their own speakers or not.
Yup, '83 baby here and I am suddenly nostalgic for the days when we had to wait for tunes on the radio and a whole week for the next episode of our favourite TV show.
I was wondering when people would start recommending reacting to the Sing Off. Definitely go through performances 1-12. It's really fun and has a wide variety of music. Could even do 2-3 at a time were you so inclined. 😜
Oh my god, I laughed so hard, your reactions are so awesome! Son of a Mitch!! It's 7 am here and you already made my day, thank you for this! You were done after four seconds and I giggled to myself because I knew what was about to come with Mitch's crazy high notes.. so funny! Moooore! 😁
I've seen reactors who "claimed" to be born in the 80s, but said they didn't recognize "Boom! Boom! Boom!". I'm like, "How did you manage to live through the 90s and NOT HEAR THAT SONG!?!?"
I never heard that song until like 10 years after it blipped by. I'm still not sure how I missed it. And these were my clubbing years, not my childhood.
Loved your reaction! Your PTX reactions have pulled me out of a really dark place..I literally listen every day, sometimes multiple times a day. So thank you for these. I love connecting to other people through their art.
I've been in a super super dark place this last week. My mental health has taken a nose dive but I want you to know you are the reason for all of my smiles and laughs this last week or so. I have been going through all of Your PTX reactions because they bring joy to me! I love your reactions! Thank you for your time and reactions. You really do touch so many people's lives.
You smiled for a few seconds during this video. Nice smile. I wish this somewhere besides RUclips, but was never released as a track. I agree about how they sing better than most "famous" singers. They work so hard!!!!! And Scott is a fanatic when it comes to his singing. He puts in 200%.
Omg yay!!!! I’ve been waiting so long for you to react to this one!!!!!! Thank youuuuuuu!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰 I requested it awhile ago and you liked my comment but it’s been awhile. Soooooo glad you got around to it. I KNEW you would love it!! 🥰🥰🥰
Oh my God-you talking about waiting for your kids at school or the look on your face when you realized they had auto-tune! I don't know which was funnier!🤣
This was great to wake up to! I was born in 79 so I was a teenager through a lot of these and it makes me so nostalgic! Your reactions are amazing. Loving the parenting, my son is 7 and I can sense the embarrassing parent thing will be coming soon! Bring it on! 😂😂
Loved your reaction Saucey Dad!! Always such fun. The vocal talent of PTX is astounding, not just the singing but the ear candy, the beat-boxing, the airy sounds. A Capella at it's very best and a great tribute to the 90's music. Kevin on that beat-boxing is genius, Scott and his pop vocals, Matt with the deep warmth, Kirstie and those sharp notes, and Mitch with those high notes, golden vocals and the ear candy - the Mitch slaps just keep coming for you!
How the hell did you do that with your eye!!! lol. Freaked the hell out of me. Just ran across your videos and they are funny as hell. Can't wait to listen to more. Especially with the world the way it is you do bring happiness with your channel. I think thats why you are attracting people because your nuts,, lol. Keep it up and thanks for the smiles for the day
Watching your reaction to this one again and I've seen this so many times, that I can focus on your reaction more and still laugh at your facial expressions. Needed that today. Thanks from Canada.
Yessir, they KILLED this! Listen here you young whippersnapper… Mr *I was born in ‘88*. 🤣 I was actually clubbing in the 90s (ya, I’m old 💃). Kevin and Matt slayed it, as always. You got some moves SD. 🤙🏻
I don't know if you are familiar with Mitch & Scott's side gig - Superfruit? They put out an album "Future Friends 1 & 2" in 2017 and it is amazing. Check out almost anything from it. Scott also did a song with Rozzi called "Lose Us" SO good.
Heh. Your comment about Scott and the boy bands is entirely valid. My sister introduced me to PTX. The first video of theirs I ever saw was “Hallelujah”. I didn’t know anyone’s name, so when I was talking to her later, they all got nicknames. Avi: Beard guy Kirstin: The girl Mitch: Hat guy (that IS a guy, right?) K.O.: Percussion Scott: Boyband McSmolder
82 baby here. My first concert was New Kids on the Block with Boyz II Men opening. I don't remember much except we left early cuz it was too loud. I temporarily lost my hearing and fell asleep in the backseat on the way home during a thunderstorm 😂
I highly recommend anything by "The Chipmunks" to embarrass your children. When my kids grew up, my 1970's "A Chipmunks Christmas" went missing. Like I told my kids "I'm not doing anything to you today, that years of therapy won't cure later." You're a great dad! LOL
I'm dying 🤣. 4sec mitch slap...30 sec mitch was born for 90s music...cc music factory mitch melt down...moments later KEVIN!!! Moments later Scott boy band mancrush
What you really MUST check out (even if not react to) is the 90's Dance Medley - side by side with the original track. ruclips.net/video/y6WOzZixJpc/видео.html has PTX in your left ear/screen and the original in your right ear/screen synchronised. Then, and only then, will you be able to see/hear how ridiculously CLOSE to perfect PTX are without instruments!!
My first concert was Janet Jackson. I was 9. It was amazing. Also I think Scott and JC Chasez can go toe to toe, I wanna hear them sing together so badly lol.
this is my absolute favorite medley of theirs..only one problem,,,,tooooooooooooo short!!!!!! Love the homage to Cher,,,the first to ever use auto-tune to compress that voice. Kirstie!! Looking good!!!
Hey fellow Pentaholics…is he ready for Aha! Singapore Star Vista? I’d recommend watching the official video first for a baseline. Then the live Star Vista video. It’s an Imogen Heap cover. 👍🏻
@@lorismith5195 ok, you got me there, but, and it's huge, I look forward to seeing reactors who think that they are ready for Aha! Singapore star Vista, and they don't do so well after. Shame on me, I just sit back and laugh. Usually while eating popcorn. Besides, think of his poor wife, who would have to clean up the mess after.
There are debates as to when or if they used auto tune for effect, but if they did it was only in one, maybe two songs, and only for short segments. I don't know how they missed informing you about this song, it's only about a year old. I haven't looked at your Pentatonix playlist yet to see what else you are missing.
If you want to be blown out of your socks by Scott's talent, react to their performance on The Sing-Off of Marvin Gaye's song, "Let's Get it On." He will absolutely astound you.
The sing off series is a necessity for sauceydad!
Start from the 1st one!! And then do Home Free on Season 4 along with Voiceplay from that season as well!!

You must check out the PTX performances from The Sing Off, both to see how incredible they were from the first performance as a group, and to appreciate how much they have grown.
Scott also kills it with their song Cracked.
Yes!!! You have to watch through to the end and hear the judges reactions and comments!! 🙌🏻♥️
I love it, when Mitch sings your jaw drops, when Kirstin sings, your eyes rolled back in your head. I was crying laughing. You have to check out their Come Along and Can you feel the love tonight. Can't wait to see the look on your face at those 2 videos
Oh yah, Can You Feel the Love Tonight!
Come Along is awesome!
Give Matt his flowers also. You rarely (if ever) acknowledge him. He was awesome in this video. This medley should be on all workout playlists.

👏✨👏YES! Scott is SO BOY BAND material and MORE!
I mean his vocal range is INSANE!! and he is SO HANDSOME
I LOVE Scott 😄
I almost cried laughing watching this, this was awesome! Just when you think Mitch’s gotten the last slap in… boom! There he goes again.
Yes, but he still has not reacted to the original Mitch slap. Which has to wait until he reacts to the very beginning.

Hey now, the Backstreet Boys held their own when they appeared on one of PTX's Christmas shows to perform a song with them. A Capella! 😄

I've seen dozens of reactions to this. I LOVE your facial expressions. They were the best! I never get tired of listening to this.
This medley should win them another Grammy like Daft Punk did! The arraignment on this is as good as DP!
Born in 81, I GET IT, they only need two more songs to encapsulate my highschool experience! I subscribed to you immediately.
So many memories 😃 Also, they did use auto-tune as a tribute to Cher.
Born in ‘82 and I’m living for this/these song(s) by my beloved PTX!
This one would play in a club with no question! They blew it away as usual!
I sooooooooooo CAN'T WAIT for u to react to Bohemian Rhapsody 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please, please watch Pentatonix Popspring Perfomance 2016. Has 3 originals and a evolution . Live

Listen to Scotts " i should tell your momma on ya " doing it on his own doing bass and rap singing its incredible
Perfect analysis! I didn’t even think about how perfect Mitch is for ‘90’s music! I was born in ‘82 so this was an amazing mix & video.
I think they should do an EP of each of these songs, full length. What a great sound!
HAhaha, how you like getting multiple Mitch slaps ,was waiting for you to react to this. I love trips down memory lane.

To be amazed at what Mitch can do please react to Gold

You need to check out there Draft Punk video
Funniest ending I have heard from you yet!

How did I miss this one!?!
Have you done Voice Play's boy band medley? You'd love it

I hope your school pick up went great, and the other parents were bopping in their seats!
