Interesting fact about Dragon Quest VIII on the 3DS: while the main game has absolutely no stereoscopic effect, the monster catalogue does, allowing you to view any defeated enemies in 3D. Is it a coincidence, or do I really see lots of PS2 "remakes" on the 3DS? Seriously, Monster Hunter, MGS3: Snake Eater, DQ8: Journey of the cursed king, Resi Evil: Mercenaries (part of the original RE 4) and so on. Is Nintendo trying to play on my nostalgia note? Cuz I swear it's working. XD
Funnily enough, I actually have been working on getting DQ8 on 3DS. I say "work on" because since the game is so expensive these days I've had to resort to buying the case and game separately to keep the cost down lol! I currently have the case and I plan to get the game cart soon.
Completely agree with the list, but the games shown on the video being emulated shouldn't be a thing as the image looks much sharper. There's ton of gameplay and trailers for them being captured natively. Anyone watching this and going to try them for themselves could definitely be disappointed.

I think there are a lot of reasons to play the 3DS version of Snake Eater over others. In fact, I'd dare to say it's potentially the best way to play it if you have either a New 3DS or a circle pad pro. For one, it's the only version where you can walk while crouching and aim in third person, which are huge quality of life changes, and it supports a control scheme that is more aching to modern TPS games like MGS 5 where you aim and shoot with the shoulder buttons as opposed to the face buttons. For two, the touch screen makes the interface a lot quicker and friendlier. Last, but not least, you can take photos and use them to make camos for Snake, which is just fun. The only downsides are the slightly downgraded visuals and worse performance, and the game is nearly unplayable without a second analogue (whether tne N3DS one or the CCP). Other than that, I think the worse performance is more than made up for.

amazing video bro
Thanks man!
Amazing video. Wished to see some more underrated graphically intensive games like Spider-Man edge of time and sonic lost world/transformed.
Part 3 in the works, thanks for the suggestions! 🙂
I do love me some of Epic’s “Gear of War” ✌️
Is it a coincidence, or do I really see lots of PS2 "remakes" on the 3DS? Seriously, Monster Hunter, MGS3: Snake Eater, DQ8: Journey of the cursed king, Resi Evil: Mercenaries (part of the original RE 4) and so on. Is Nintendo trying to play on my nostalgia note? Cuz I swear it's working. XD
Majoras Mask is a lot better looking than OoT but I agree even OoT was a big leap from the 64 version.
13:27 _Oh, my car!_
Funnily enough, I actually have been working on getting DQ8 on 3DS. I say "work on" because since the game is so expensive these days I've had to resort to buying the case and game separately to keep the cost down lol! I currently have the case and I plan to get the game cart soon.
Haha nice! Hope you find a good deal on the cart soon 🙂
Damn. I'm so glad I bought that game when I did.
haven't watched it yet but i hope edge of time is in one of these
So sad that E.X. Troopers is not on the eShop outside of Japan. Missed opportunity!
gotta say resident evil revelations is one of the best games ive played
Oh man... These are emulation upscaled footage. I just wanna see authentic 3DS goodness.
Completely agree with the list, but the games shown on the video being emulated shouldn't be a thing as the image looks much sharper. There's ton of gameplay and trailers for them being captured natively. Anyone watching this and going to try them for themselves could definitely be disappointed.
Yokai watch has amazing graphic considering that it's a 2013 game
Steel Empire is the best looking game for me on the 3DS
tekken 3d also deserve to be in this list
IronFall looks interesting but how long is it? Never played a monster hunter game before. How many are there on the 3DS?...Love the channel btw...Later
Bro you forgot Luigi's Mansion Dark moon, it looks like a Pixar film. I'm absolutely sure it's one of the best looking games on the 3ds.
Covered in part 1 of this video
That EX Trooper if I remember it correctly doesn't have english translation as it didn't come out of Japan
they had unofficial english patch made by fan..
3:50 "Kirby Planet Robo"? You lost a "bot" at the title's end there...
4:17 At least you knew better. Let's call it a visual glitch caused by the hostile robotic takeover. ^^
😅
The kirby planet game is really good
I’ll second that!
7:16 Sadly "Ex Troopers" was never released in Europe nor NA...
Resident Evil revelations looks good too
I think there are a lot of reasons to play the 3DS version of Snake Eater over others.
Ngl I’m watching this so I can get new games for my modded 3ds😂
Monster Hunter 4 looks cool, unless you play it on old 3ds where you basically can't see anything.
This was my goddamn child hood my 6th-11th grade haha last game I got on 3ds was the Luigi’s mansion 1 remake
so you have the main display on your monitor or tv. then stream the touch part to a steam deck phone hacked switch or... its cool i like it.
dragon quest boo- physics look good
KIngdom Hearts 3D shoud be in this list too
Covered it in part 1 of the video.
Shouldn't Samus Returns be on this list? That game was pretty graphicly impressive.
what is the text font u used in the thumbnail ?
video starts with BRS THE GAME OST
beyond based
Wow, does E.X. Troopers have an English patch?
What emulator are you using to play the games and what filters/enhancements are you using?
Damn shame capcom and sony had a problem with mh tri and p3rd. If mh3u and 4u where on vita it would've had toukiden levels of graphical fidelity.
