Marie is annoying af. Wealthy people do not go to their attorney’s office to conduct their business but the attorney comes to them for their legal matters yet Marie is always showing up as if she doesn’t trust the people SHE CHOSE for her legal counsel. She comes to the firm like someone’s mother more than a client as she scolds people trying to throw her status around intimidating people. Plus no way would Hayden and Andi still be on the case of someone of Marie’s supposed status because it’s obvious that they don’t have anyone’s best interest in mind but their own. Marie appears to enjoy Hayden and Andi’s cut throat tactics even though they are supposed to be working to benefit her. Her storyline is nothing more than filler and a waste of time. Andi is the worst attorney ever. She had to have slept her way to her law credentials. She is way too insecure and weak to be a good attorney. She mousey and too emotional for lawyering. A good lawyer doesn’t react emotionally or rely on their feelings. Attorneys are con artists at best with good poker faces but Andi is none of that. Andi exposes evidence instead of thinking things through. She couldn’t wait to tell Gary the information she found out about him from her college friend even though he told Andi that Gary was dangerous. She did just like Penelope did. If it wasn’t for Fatima, Andi could have gotten the same treatment from Gary that Penelope did. She conceals evidence when she should be exposing it. Like the blood on the wall that Andi has yet to say anything about. She has no backbone. Andi can barely defend herself so how can she sternly and directly defend someone else. The one time she stood firm was with Maurice and that was it. She has no common sense which is a prerequisites for being a good attorney. A please let’s pretend that the Penelope storyline didn’t happen. I just don’t understand how these actors and actresses go along with this nonsensical, unrealistic material like Penelope explanation of her surviving hemorrhaging on the floor one minute and sneaking away to escape Gary and his violent behavior the next. I hope that even though it was filmed somebody had sense enough to call it out during filming for it making absolutely no sense.
We've already seen this you're in love with your ex storyline with Zatima and that other woman. We really don't need to see it again with Danni and two characters we don't give a damn about.

The excuse really didn't make sense at all, I could've found a better excuse for her and her saying that he told her to get towels and that's when she got away is insane because Gary wasn't even panicked about her disappearing or worried that she would give him over to the authorities. That’s scene with Penelope’s explanation is proof that you can tell that Tyler Perry has not given complete and total control over to the new writers. After all why would Tyler Perry give complete and total control of writing over to new writers for his show that he brags about being his number 1 show on BET and the ratings are through the roof and he said that shows that he must be doing something right which was his conviction for being so adamant about not needing writers or writing help. 1. I said the *WRITING* insults our intelligence, not the *writers* and when I said writing I meant everything that's happened over the last season. I tweeted about a month ago that there is literally a one year time difference between seasons 1 and two of The Family Business, yet Sistas is on its 7th season and only 7-8 months have passed. 2. Tyler is definitely done writing Sistas he is off to new stuff now, he is back to writing movies, so I definitely don't agree that he is going to take back the pen like he has in the past, these new writers literally wrote S8 as well. And I am totally not gonna blame dialogue written by the writers on Tyler. The dialogue is on the writers, so the stupid expectation Penelope have is on the writer of the episode not Tyler Perry. The storylines can be blamed on him but not what comes out of these characters mouths this season I'm sorry. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

I definitely believe the man is done writing the BET and BET+ shows, that's how I feel, every other week you hear of him having a new deal somewhere else. So he is done. He gave up directing of Sistas in S6, the new writers basically took over towards the end of S6 when the new men came. Even Zatima has a new director for S4 that isn't Armani Ortiz and I believe someone else has taken over that show too. The fact that his presence is still in these shows, well that makes sense since it's his. Courtney Kemp hasn't been involved in Power Book 2 since the end of the second season but when I watch that show, I still feel her all over it. I don't think he has the control over these shows in the way people think anymore, but I do believe he is driving the direction of the storylines. If Tyler was still heavily involved, we never would have gotten a three month time jump that made sense. But yes, to each their own.
