No one can sing it better that Jonghyun,he was the only one who knew the real meaning of every tiny word from this song and he put all his emotion on it, but Kihyun cover is the best cover from all i've heard, he sang it with emotions and he sang it so truly that after hearing it i was literally broken, shocked and needed few days to comfort myself.
Everybody can sing nicely this song but i guess they can't beat jjong strong emotional high note and love-able voice.but now we can't hear like him same unique strong voice anymore. We all Miss you Jonghyun Oppa r.i.p in heaven ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I gotta admit Kihyun did very good but I still love Jjong's more. Jihyun kept it stable and added vibrato and I could tell he was singing with feelings but in a comparison I would say the feeling input in the song was maybe 80 (jihyun) to an 97-98 (jonghyun). Like Jjong added a LOT of vibrato and when hitting the high notes he had his special tune of raising his voice a bit towards the end of the high note almost like a little voice break but isn't a voice break but more of an ad-lib like at the end (he always does this and that's what makes his voice recognizable in high notes. Though his voice is already recognizable due to his tone anyways). That's just my opinion though... jonghyun voice just gives me chills...
Let's not forget this is Jonghyun's song so he will always be the best singer for it. But Kihyun as a trainee did amazing I'm sure Jonghyun would have been proud of him.

its not that kihyun sang quite faster, it's just because the music for kihyun version was a little faster and he had to follow the tempo. unlike for joonghyun's, kihyun had only half of the song to sing. furthermore, we can consider kihyun as a beginer at the time he sang that song, too careful as he was too afraid like if he was about to make mistakes. While joonghyun was way too familiar with the song. Although i certainly love joonghyun's version for the first place, i think we must also not to under estimate kihyun's version for he had done his very best and believe me, if joonghyun was not the one who sang it first, i would have change my mind. Joonhyun has done really well, and for me, the praise also goes kihyun....

Wow, this is 4 years ago. I found a video that had Kihyun speaking to Jonghyun about covering his song. Jonghyun sounded upset, and negative about responding. I love Jonghyun and his version is emotional like a poignant musical. He knew exactly what steps he was taking to make a perfect song. Kihyun has other songs that I enjoy listening too.
Replay a few times. Jonghyun voice projection much stronger than KiHyun. Seems like i could hear only Jjong voice towards the end. Love Kihyun rendetion of this song too but to compare I would choose Jonghyun.
