DOUBLEGDJ Elvis I agree with you 100% I would not want to grow up anywhere else want to schools with grades it was fun hanging out and doing everything in Wantagh I lived right across from the Twin Lakes
Trigger lot of good old memories , I remember living around there in early 2000s when I was 5 years old , I remember some stores and places in Wantagh NY and the etc
I lived there until I was 5 years old my dad got transferred to San Francisco when I was 5.. He worked for United Air Lines. California was great the weather was fantastic. But it has gone down hill since the late 90s. Could not afford to live there when I retired. They taxes and everything else are so high. If you find a house under 1.5 million your lucky and taxes less then $4,000 a year your even more happy. Don't know how expensive it is in Wantagh now but sure not cheap. I had to move to Florida so I would not be homeless. Just hate the weather and the bad drivers. That's about it.. I would of not minded growing up in Wantagh I guess. I could of worked for the Long Island railroad since I worked for the local train service in the bay area. Oh well it's sad that parents are gone now and my sister. Glad I have my kids and my computer stuff Hobby or I would be bored to death.
