I personally believe this is the best nhl game ever so far, the changes to franchise mode are probably the best. But the gameplay feels much more solid imo.
+Clay Koehler I think gameplay is so much better for hut, you can feel the difference between a 91 speed and and 86, and overall has more of an impact ( basically 84 Lehner is better than price in the 14-15 season on NHL 16 but it is better in NHL 17 ) I played with tarasenko and he felt like an actual 92 overall but in 16 you can't feel the difference between him and Nikita kuterov
I know this game is worth it for me. I use to play tons of Dynasty/"Be a GM" mode, but I haven't played it as much since I upgraded to XB1 because of how limited the creation is.
The one main change i wish to see is to copy the FIFA 17 pack opening dramatics Where you open a pack and if it is a high rated player the home country flag for the player drops down from the stands, then the team of the player is stamped on the card and then the player walks out from behind the card. If you want to see this dramatic search up FIFA 17 high rated player pack opening.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think NHL 17 will be worth the the money, the GM mode and and the new cellies sold it for me, because I mainly play GM and EASHL which in I'm really excited for with the customization and I think it's s great idea to have full customization with the arena and jersey in both.
I've played the NHL series to death. I ONLY do the GM mode now. They removed the ability to watch your team play. I really enjoyed building a team and WATCHING them play in the playoffs or what not, but now I can't do that! Why do they remove functions that have been in the game forever??? This is most def the last NHL game I buy.
In NHL 16 the CPU intercepts the puck super easily, while the CPU on your team does absolutely nothing. It's really annoying. You cant change players fast enough to control everybody.

hi adam my names mike i was watching your video and u said something about suggesting ideas well i have a few ideas things like opening day cermonies such as player introductions with a skip option for your fav teams home opener or miltary honour day games in game player interveiws after game day highlight packages putting ron mclean and don cherry in on the canadian team saturday night games for hockey night in canada and ive played with and a against a few friends and they said they had a hard time passing they would pass the puck to one guy and it go the complete opposite player instead of it going forward it would either go to the wrong player or to an open part of the ice and the other team would intercept it my other suggestion is put the real life goalie masks in there the ones the goalies actually wear for example ed belfours eagle mask or curtis josephs bear mask but only the ones they wear now how about putting in retiremnet cereomonies and actual real annoucers that annouce play by play things like mcdavid passes to eberle on the wing eberle carries it over the blue line throws it out to the slot hall finds it shoots rask makes the save a big rebound and mcdavid scooores just an example rather then the annoucer keep repeating itself
I've endured every painful NHL game EA has thrown at us for quite some time now, and for the most part I am excited about NHL 17. Sure, the BS stuff you see in EASHL can be maddening at times, but for the most part you play enough teams that actually play the game rather than glitch it. The Beta showed me enough that once Pre-Order was open, I got a copy. Do I think there are some things that need to be fixed and worked upon? Sure. But if NHL 17 is any marker in a direction EA is intending on heading, I am on board. It's about time they made NHL next-gen; NHL 15 on XO/PS4 was a complete waste, NHL 16 gave us OTP and EASHL right out of the gate. I just hope they continue to build on the good things they bring each year, correct the bad, and give us something new.

I got it early with EA Access and HOLY SHIT it's fantastic. Being stuck with NHL Legacy Edition until I actually got an Xbox One S to play the new game, it's like night and day better.

My answer is no... The reason has almost nothing to do with the actual game though. I love simulation sports, so things like Las Vegas getting a team next year and Detroit getting a new arena matter to me, and those ain't in this game so I'll pass. Just hope they don't screw '18 up like they did '15 and I'll get that next year.

Game is the same. I'm done with NHL. Huge hockey fanatic, and I play hockey in real life. But the game is literally the same, and all gameplay is the same. All they focus on is all the flashy shit. The only thing that looks half decent is franchise mode.
