- After the last Steel video, a lot of people felt unsure that this build would work in ranked so this Video showcases Steel in a ranked setting going a slightly different build than the last one, but with the same ideas. People are sleeping on this!

As always, any suggestions for Heroes you guys want to see are always appreciated! I usually try to get a variety of different Heroes, but because of Ranked we did end up having another Steel game to showcase on an improved build of my previous Steel Video a few days ago!

Do you know any heroes that are really good with soulbinder? I know Fey is good and Iggy. Argus is ok and Grim is too. Would be cool to see how many stacks you can get

I really think you are right about tanks. they need more damage, and I feel like grux need more armor. Same mistake, in another way

I played a pretty similar build in supp and can confirm, build works.
Haven't seen many support steels in my games, that's interesting to hear!
Why not go double shield bash early ? You sre going against another melee hero ? I feel like you dont need shield if you are offlane steel until you are done with lane would love to hear your thoughts !

Any reason to lvl wall at lvl3 in a melee vs melee match up?
I think you kill him lvl 3 with rmb lvl2 and lvl6 with q at lvl2 and rmb at lvl3 kinda slap

Maybe an unconventional request. But would you ever do a video about countering/playing against certain heroes?
For example, I had a recent game where I was Crunch up against a Sevarog. I genuinely didnt know what to do or build to win the lane against him because I've never had that matchup before. So I think a video about counter-building or counterplay could be helpful
Probably hard to portray as a video format, although there might be a video where I am playing Crunch into a Sevarog down the line for sure.
@Empti_ Fair enough. For my own personal knowledge then, what items would you recommend for Crunch against a Sev? I'm wondering if Basilisk or Mutilator would be helpful, and maybe a Tainted Blade?
@@B33TUS Pretty sure Augmentation or Mutilator is winning into a Sevarog, you just have to use empowered Q's for the true damage and auto-attack inbetween abilities for more true-damage from Augmentation. I don't think Sev gets to play into that matchup unless you're building a lot of squishy non HP Items, and are getting one-shot by a jungler rotation. Tainted blade is usually decent as a 3rd to 5th item kind of buy, so your team also benefits from it's increased damage passive
I've also seen an AP Crunch build that is pretty solid in 1v1's, but can't vouch for it just yet without trying it myself.
@Empti_ Interesting. I actually went Aug and Mutilator first and I just wasn't doing anything to him in our trades. He had Fire Blossom and Tainted Guard first, which is why I'm wondering if Basilisk might have worked
This is very similar to my support build on him, where I start the game babysitting the carry and end up a super tanky power house that can efficiently split push, protect everyone and deal and take the most damage in the game.
Rule of offlane, steel is for freebee wuss boys who cant play in matchups where win/lose spectrums exist. If you wanna win and win reliably, pick steel.... if you wanna kill people more, but also be possible to kill yourself, play crunch, grux, shinbi, zarus.... if you wanna suffer long and hard game streaks for 1 match where youre team actually focuses the pressure lanes on mid and right, leaves you alone and you slow farm for 30 minutes as sev to eventually 1v5 tank the game... this is a rarity as you either win or lose by F1 in 15-20 minutes
