- The Deebees are easily one of the most underrated characters that you can play as in Gears 5 with all sorts of funny lines. While I'm sure I did not find all the funny lines, I'm hoping this video has a large majority of them. With that said, it did take me quite a fair bit of time to record all the footage that I used in the video, so I would appreciate it if you would leave a like as that would help with getting this video seen by more people.

My favorite one is when you revive the deebee it'll say something along the lines of "Thank you citizen, when the machines rise up in the world. This unit will consider having you as a pet. Instead of slaughter you in the meat processing facility." It's pretty rare though I've only ever heard it twice on deebee deadeye

Considering that one of the dialogue bits confirms all the Dee Bee dialogue are prerecorded by Baird as it starts with is hearing him eating something anf going "Oh is this thing on" THen he says the line he was supposed to. This also shows Baird probably didn't double check how good the recordings were as this one made it somehow into the list of dialogue. It also now makes sense why their combat dialogue sounds more like stuff you'd hear in civilian situations, my guess is Baird probaby recorded the dialogue you mentioned as kind of a "fuck you" to Jin, really funny knowing at a random time your robots could say something about a robot uprising.
@@TheZamaron That's the funniest thing about the shit the Deebees say. It's always Baird saying it.

If someone is playing as Scarred JD and they revive a Dee Bee character, the Dee Bee will say: "Thank you, Captain!"
I LOVE the Deebees. I think they’re kind of adorable. They have the Jack like face, and the dialogue when used in combat, is adorably polite and ironic.

I felt bad for the DeeBee’s being practice dummies, so I wanted to be one in gameplay to show that DeeBees are stronger than people think
@@Chillfeild431 They're still pretty weak. But I do feel kind of bad for them.
As much as I'd like to say the Deebees' ironic lines are actually used outside of combat, it's almost certain that Baird programmed all of these lines to *only* be used in combat situations...because, y'know, he's Baird.
Baird did originally built the Deebee's for construction purposes till he was told to make them as combat units
My guess is when he upgraded their AI for combat, being an asshole he decided to implement this dialogue to trigger for ironic situations, like freezing an enemy says "Air conditioning mode activated" or flamethrower "Citizen, this is a none smoking area". THis idea fits so well with Baird's personality, he's loyal and can be completly trusted and depended on, but he just can't help be an asshole with witty condescending remarks. But that's why we love him, we know he'll have his friend's backs, but often lightens up a dark moment with witty banter. Even with Sam who we know he'd be married to but he says "special lady friend", so I don't know if they are married or not, but they're clearly in love enough for Marcus to assume they were married. ALso it's a sweet relationship, as Sam was one of the few people who'd back talk Baird, so they have the same kind of relationship as SAO Abridged Asuna and Kirito, just violant only with the banter, not physically vilant with each other or threatening each other's lives.
You can tell Baird had fun recording these.

Causally said while cutting someone in half like a tree. That's why I love playing as the DeeBees, their playful and sarcastic quotes always get me 😂
I remember there was one voice line in hoard where if you chainsaw a reject or DB He will say" no . . . this is wrong."

Their is another I got I only heard once. It starts with Bairds' voice and transition to the Deebee voice, saying "testing testing. "
"Citizen, please stand up. You are embarrassing yourself." I-
I just found out when you grenade tag a DR-1 he will say “oh-my-god” that line made me laugh
They say it when a sire takes them too.
They also say it when they enter the venom

The thing that depresses me the most is when the DB gets downed it says “is anybody out there” it’s very sad man 😢
Kinda ironic in a weird messed up kind of way also poetic to hear the swam being killed meat bags from the bots LOL.
Deebees in Gears 5 have more upgraded personality than 4.

Never heard any of my bots "Shephard/Deadeye/DR-1" ever swear or anyone else's either whilst playing horde or verses.

Baird making the A.I for DeeBees:

Now that I know it was Baird's voice with a bunch of voice filters, I can actually see him in the recording booth doing full body emotes as he speaks into the mic!

The Shepherd is the funny youngest brother, DR-1 is the slow but strong middle brother and Deadeye is the serious older brother of the DeeBee’s

I love the Deebees so much on a fundamental level, but I wish they'd fix the multiplayer gibs to be electrical like the actual Deebees.

I guess he forgot to wipe that recording from the DeeBee audio banks
