I'm restarting magic I don't have many cards and was having trouble building a green-white deck with this kind of strategy, but I couldn't get it right.
So I took this list and changed some cards to fit the ones I had and reduce the number of wildcards needed. right now, I'm at something like 7victories for 1 defeat.
Thanks for the kind words, picked up a new deck today and went 0 in 17 in Platinum ledder, felt really discouraging.
I broke the game using Scute the other day. Game ended in a draw because it couldn't compute doubling over 300 Swarms along with Ancient Greenwarden on the field.

I hade over 1000 playing a frend it tol 25 minust to prosees the last batch and i hade a fabeld that i did not want to crack whit 1000+ scutes on the battele feald....
I hate scute swarm for this very reason. I had someone dead on the board with some really big flyers that they clearly couldn't deal with. Their response was to play a genesis ultimatum and God knows what other ramp spells until the massive scute stack froze the game. It pissed me off so much. They weren't accomplishing anything, except maybe getting their cast X green spells daily.

Post game: I needed to hear it. The ridiculous Cat Oven/Mayhem Devil/Dreadhorde Butcher fir my wheelhouse very well and got me mythic pretty quickly my first season after returning to the game. Gotta grind, some days are not your day. More words of wisdom from CGB. See you in the next video.

At 20:30 yasharn turns off your fetchland. That's why you couldn't sac it. Nice video though!

at 15:40 , you could have created more swarms , you had 4 lands on the field and 2 in hands.
Activate full control mode, put down 1 land, the swarms ability triggers, then in response you activate rootgrazer's ability to put down your 6th land.
that way , the 2 triggers of the swarm will both copy it.
and then you have fabled passage to copy them again.

I just had a game crash, when 320 Scute Swarms were about to quadruple (with 2 ancient greenwardens out) :)
Nice deck. That last game was quite the come back. Not sure why they scooped. Really wish Arena had the option to see the top of your library once the game is over. They let us see the field afterwards in one of the last few updates. Why not see the cards that were coming too?
Cleanest build ive seen in a while! Not thr greatest cards doing great things. My favorite. The bans are showing off your building skills even more than the chops you usually display!

Yes. Triggers on the stack check game state when each of them resolve.
i think turning it into to naya gives you more options and better removal, and allows you to machine gun people with terror of the peaks as a massive threat.
Since you have the ramp for it, have you thought about Adding Ashaya, Every Monster that gets summoned to the field from hand procs scute swarm and it helps with being a big blocker while you set up your field.

I hate Scute Swarm with a passion. Hate it. Apparently I need to get over it. I didn't hate this deck. Love hearing about the new blue chair. Awesome.

Could you add more removal without loosing power? More ECD and some banishing light. Mid range build could trade a few creatures for more control, just gets run over by extinction event and ugin no matter what i guess

I´m using a similar deck but i use 3 Harmonious Archon. It´s pretty fun (and good)
Harmonious Archon sounds like it's way too expensive, and a dead card in many match ups. For decks like this early game is the most important, since you win late game anyway, and Archon is a win more card.

Just went of a 7 win streak to get out of gold using cgbs' titans' nest deck with some cuts to add a couple elsbeths' nightmares and eliminates (eliminates are to deal with an ooze with counters or crawling barrens)
Why do you always prioritize the cobra over the rootgrazer on t2 when you have a basic? You could then play the cobra AND retreat/yasharn with the two landdrops (and ramp in the process)
Right, rootgrazer turn two, turn three you play lotus first, then drop two lands with rootgrazer giving you 4 mana, play Yasharn, turn four you can drop both lands for 6 lands on board plus 2 from lotus
Yasharn is actually kind of nuts. A 4/4 body 4 CMC that thins your deck 2 cards and counters sacrifice plays. Definitely slept on.

What would be your suggestions to update to standard 2022? I added 2 Ashaya, soul of the wild and 3 Prosperous Innkeeper for the cards that weren't playable. 4 evo wilds, bumped the lands to 6 plain, 6 forest, 4 branchloft pathway.

I came up against a similar deck playing Rakdos Control, destroyed it. I do think they had some bad draws, played poorly, and some questionable deck building choices. They were all in on the ramp element with Cultivate and Migratory Greathorn, got some durdly, do-nothing hands
Ah, that second to last game. I got the same thing in Pokemon online. Your win streaks are only allowed to continue for so long.

I like including at least one Klothys's Design in my Scute Swarm decks.
I have noticed a couple (2) missed stops this past week. It's possible I wasn't paying attention and auto clicked through something... but IDK. It was the step right after attacks were declared in both instances. Just like in CGB's video. Maybe I'm just imagining it. Or there is an in game explanation (like ECD tax or something) that I'm not considering. But I'm starting to wonder. I didn't think much of it the first time, but the second time I couldn't figure out why it skipped ahead. Anyone else notice anything like that?

If you play grazer and then cobra, you would have 4 mana for the retreat. Play the basic off grazer and normal land play gives 4 mana and 4 power on the board
with a fetch it's five mana
In the game vs Benjidanger...Ive noticed if I win more than 3 in a row the shuffler completely screws me on mana for at least 2 games...

Wouldn't Azusa be a fantastic add in this deck?

Would it not compete with Skyclave as a stomp target? you could create some interesting situations where they have to choose to stomp your ramp or your removal. As far Azusa being slow; I'd generally agree, except for that the deck is based on landfall, and azusa can threaten game ending turns earlier.
I dont like Azusa if you dont have a way to play cards from top of your deck or something similar. Azusa would be good in a Valakut Exploration deck, or maybe if you are playing Radha. But this deck will run out of lands quickly. It can work well if you have couple Murasa Rootgrazer out maybe but other than that i dont see Azusa providing that much value.

20:10 game is bugged with evolving wilds. you need to be in full control for working with evolving wilds combat tricks unlike fabled passage. Had the same problem when I tried naya landfall aggro. Lost several games to not gaining priority with evoloving wilds before I learned to use full control.
