Party city did a great job this years gonna be a very nostalgic year! i love the dolls they look awesome im just blown away that DR payne is very realistic and highly detailed! great video! those cookies look delicious
The skill crane one is reminiscent of old jumpscare videos in the earlier days of the Internet. From the colorful, simple game to the misleading teddy bear image in the background, that one just screams prank video jumpscare, in a good way.
I like the Scarecrow because it goes from being really tall and imposing to dropping down to face level like it's after YOU specifically. But my favorite is the Skill Crane. I love coin-op machines and have a real Fortune Teller machine in my house and I think this would be a fun companion piece to keep out all year. Also, it has that 80's creature-feature (Critters, Ghoulies, Gremlins) kind of vibe.
16:57 i think this cookie to ember transition went unnoticed to most but as a film major i was very happy to see such a subtle transition between the placement of ember on the cookie to the party city prop. :)
I was pleasantly surprised to see how far this chain has come with seasonal decor options, LOVE that mirrored skeleton!! I bought the skill claw teddy and my claw only goes across and back once, not several times like the video, the claw in the store wasn't working at all. The frame strength is only ok and has a lot of parts to put together, the plastic sides both had a 3-4" scratch even though they had a protective skin on them. The sticker across the top has a BIG ripple I can't get out. It's really cool but I def. question it's lasting quality, seems like it won't hold up more than a couple of seasons. I got mine for 20% off so it was $199 which made me feel better about its subtle defects.

If you have Costco, they have the same groundbreaker skeleton but with blackpainted ribs and led eyes but same huge size, can get it shipped to your home right now but its 80 dollars cheaper if you get it in store.

Not one syllable spoken out of Cthulhu's mouth in that animatronic was ever written in any book by H.P. Lovecraft. Those are NOT lines taken "directly" from "Call of Cthulhu"

Granted it has been a few years, a d other books begin to bleed over it, but I just don't think THESE words are said BY Cthulhu anywhere in Call of Cthulhu. I love the teddy bear one! I feel like the moving claw draws your attention and distracts you so the jumpscare is that much more surprising! Very unique! Edit: Cthulu is also pretty unique, I'm also shocked I haven't seen one yet! I honestly think Spirit should take some notes! Dr. Payne is an excellent example of some great creepy carnival stuff without having to resort to more of the same clowns. I'm also excited to see Evil Dead stuff! I've always hoped and prayed for an animatronic of the laughing deer head, I hope we get that someday.
