  • In this video Chloe Jade Travels to Afghanistan under the t4liban rule
    This video was recorded over 2 and a half weeks in November 2022
    This is the REALITY of an AMERICAN WOMAN traveling to AFGHANISTAN under T4LIBAN RULE
    Afghanistan is incredibly overlooked when it comes to the beauty of the country, only though of for what it is portrayed in the media and in movies.
    Similar to what I have spoken about with Syria, people have dehumanized refugees when they have no idea how much these Afghan refugees have given up
    I hope to share the realities of my trip, so you can understand how incredible this country is, and why Afghans would never CHOOSE to leave their country, and why many feel they've been forced to, in order to give their families a fair chance.
    The main video is 48 minutes long, with a 30 minute Q&A at the end.
    Please let me know any additional questions in the comments and I will do my best to answer.
    Thank you for all your support 💜

      This country was invaded three times by the British and by the Soviets and the US in recent history. It’s non stop war. It takes generations of peace to rebuild.

    Hi Chloe, I am an afghan and love watching all vlogs about Afghanistan. However your Vlog was exceptionally the best one for many reasons. First of all It made me very emotional that If I go there as a woman currently, I can’t experience half of what you showed us so it felt empowering still to see you fulfill my dream.
    You did an excellent job by showing many different clips with the most relevant information about each place and Event that took place. And I watched the whole video which i am usually incredibly impatient for. Thank you so much for showing us all this❤

      afghan womans are covered their mens are earning money for their mother their sister their wife and kids they are oppressed? i say the laugh is on you liars, your country got more suiciders in daily basis then any muslim countries, you ppl are the oppressed, at the you buy a dog to live with because you cannot trust and live together with ur partners your partners are ur dogs u eat and sleep with them
      your divorce rate is the highest
      check muslim couples they live together til the day they die, they have kids together and their kids looks after their mother’s and fathers when they become older
      but you westerners putting your mums into nursing homes your farhers into nursing home running away from one another, go worry about your future because when you die your dead body will be in hell forever

Lately I haven’t been feeling great about the city but watching this gave me more appreciation for being a native here and free to do as I please in many ways with many resources. Wow! You just became my new favorite travel RUclipsr! Your bravery for doing that which I, as an American woman myself, thought was impossible, by travelling as a woman to Afghanistan under Taliban rule so that you could open your mind and your clearly compassionate, beautifully loving heart to the Afghan people is truly commendable! Thank you, so much, for sharing your journey with us, and in so doing sharing the voices, spirits, and culture of a people whose voices and spirits, both, it seems, have been so sadly quieted by the Taliban's rise to power! You really helped me open my own eyes, heart, and mind to this incredible country, and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me do so! 💖

    I just found your page today. My wife and I watched the Antarctica video first and then this one. I find your videos very informative and well made. I love the history and the buildings and views but find it very sad that women don't really have lives there. Very sad. Keep up the great work

I'm jewish American probably not the favorite of talibns so i will never go visit , but admire and love all of G'ds children. May humanity recognize the beauty divinity in diversity. Hi Chloe, if you wear hijab in any more of your travels, you might have an easier time keeping the hijab in place with hijab magnets and, if you wear an undercap, you can attach the hijab to the undercap with wardrobe tape. These tools should make it easier to wear hijab if there's wind or if you're moving a lot.

    It’s very common in the market places for shopkeepers to rinse their glass of water or tea with water and throw it outside their shops, which in many cases land on someone walking outside. It has happened to me and I have see it happen to others. I don’t think it was because you were not covering your face.

    • @Chloejadetravels
      @Chloejadetravels  7 месяцев назад +3

      My guide told me that was the reason so that’s why I said it. I had my face covered there earlier in the day and had switched my scarf so wasn’t covering face anymore and just forgot and he didn’t want to force me and didn’t realize I just forgot. Anyway. I hope that’s it. But there was snickering afterwards so that why we suspected it. Kandahar was different from the rest of what I experienced unfortunately.

    • @rafitaniwal1597
      @rafitaniwal1597 7 месяцев назад +1

      yes, some parts are alot more strict and Kandahar is one of those places. But disrespecting a women in a verbal or physical way (in this case throwing water) would be considered a big crime. No one would even dare to do something like that deliberately of the fear of being harmed by the family of the women. A women is an honour in Afghanistan. I'm not saying that it didn't, maybe it did happen in your case. but I just wanted to point out that, it would be very unusual and risky for someone to do that to a random woman@@Chloejadetravels

    Recently came across your channel and I love your content 😊 I really appreciate how genuine and respectful you are towards the culture of the lands you visit. I don’t sense any arrogance or judgement in you, based on all the things you say. Your respect for their customs and beliefs regardless of how different they might be than yours, is so refreshing to see ❤️ looking forward to more content 😊
    I’m curious if you’re willing to share, what’s your ethnic background? You identified yourself as a woman of color in another short, so it made me wonder.

    That was absolutely incredible. Watching this made me feel
    like I was there with you lol. Thank you for such an amazing travel doc. On a side note, I was just so confused by the Taliban rules. Why do they hate women so much? Banning of all kinds of music? How they expect to have a functioning society where women aren't allowed anywhere not even to work to help support their families in a such a poor country? My heart breaks for the women of that beautiful country 💔

    • @gaeig
      @gaeig 7 месяцев назад

      Because apparently God will punish women on the day of judgement and condemn them to eternal hellfire if they weren't modest enough on this planet and so the lesser chances of being seen by men, the more secure the path to Paradise after the day of judgement. Likewise for people listening to music because music tends to be more supportive of "immodesty".
