- The title says it, this is a long medley of all battle themes from Phantasy star I, II, III and IV.
16 tracks, 23 minutes. This is my biggest project yet! ( The video says 15 tracks, I miscounted. I'm not gonna remake a full video just for that, haha! )

Absolutely. Lots and lots of work, but I rushed it and I'm disappointed with the final result.
I may or may not currently be working on a much better (and slightly longer) version of this. But don't tell anyone, it's a secret!

What are some aspects of this that felt dissatisfying for you, and what changes would you make?
Man....this was EPIC!!! Def took me on a trip back to my child hood. The transitions were so clean throughout the whole mix, it's mind blowing. Rise or Fall will always be my #1 with Laughter and Death Place coming in at #2 and #3.
Epic choices! Was a pleasure to do but nothing compared to the pleasure of sharing it!
I would love an expanded section of the PSIII losing remix because that one was FIRE

To be fair, it makes the video much more involving to watch :) But sometimes, I'll admit it gets heavier on the creation side. But hey, when you love Phantasy star, you want everyone to know :D

This is... I'm not sure words exist to describe it. Amazing doesn't seem like enough. Taking all of these songs and making them WORK together is an impressive feat, and you pulled it off perfectly. And using PSIII Dark Force's theme as the ending? As much as I loved PSIII, that song is one I couldn't even REMEMBER. I was literally running through a mental list thinking 'okay, what's left for it to finish on?' And then it hit, and it made me remember actually fighting that battle... quite literally the first RPG final boss I'd ever faced. At the time, I thought it was one of the most epic fights I could've ever faced... and your remix captured that idea perfectly. The sheer weight of what Dark Force was, especially in that game...
Bravo. My only question is how are you going to top this... (just don't go crazy and try and remix the entire combined OST of the classic games or something like that, I don't think the world is ready for that kind of awesome)

Great job on the PS2 mixes. I really liked the new variations on Death Place in particular. Unfortunately having never played the other games, I can't comment on the rest. Yeah yeah, never too late, etc.
Yup, definitely a good use of 23 minutes, although I know you kept saying that melody of Doom was a catastrophic failure, but I must admit that it's one of my favorite remixes from you

Dude, the first transition from Defeat at a Blow to the Winning theme from PSIII is one of the smoothest things I have ever heard. So much of this is awesome!!
I also really love how Death Place feels triumphant in some spots. For a theme that always plays in the group’s darkest moments, it’s nice to hear such a happy modulation.

Kinda off subject, but ever wonder who the two girls are for the Phantasy Star 2 title screen?
It's an AI-render of the American game box, it represents the Mother Brain, the game's final boss.
@@Aeroprismsorry for the late response. It was an open ended question as I figured the answer was Mother Brain. So I invite you to another possible answer. During PS2 we assumed that both girls was Mother Brain, due to lack of context. However, when we finally got PS4, we were introduced to another super computer named daughter. She was the backup of Mother Brain. Since both computers were personified as female and both had control of the Algol star system. I submit the 2 girls are Mother Brain and Daughter. They look the same as they were both programmed with the same intended function. Just a fun thought exercise nothing more, cheers.

I don't, but I was often suggested to make one. I was asked to remaster all Phantasy Star 4 songs and to consequently make such a donation thingy so people would encourage me. I guess I should learn how to do it.

ps3 is a wierd game... it really aught to be thought of as a stand alone spin off...
they basically handed phantasy star to the golden axe team who had no idea what do make of it... and the game really sticks out... compared to the other 3 games
